THE ECONOMY IS GOOD, REALLY. Despite the Has-Been Media's best efforts to create doom and gloom, the economy really is doing quite well. So why isn't the President getting any credit? Actor, author and thinker Ben Stein explains.

YOUR WEEKLY PREVIEW. Everyone in Washington seems affected by Potomac fever. What new excitement will our government cook up? Tony and internet doyenne, Lucianne Goldberg, preview the week's top stories.

DIDDY'S DEEDS. Did Diddy violate election laws during the 2004 campaign? The FEC has been asked to investigate his political group, Citizen Change. Should celebrities just get out of politics?

Lucianne is right. He is NOT from old money. Old money doesn't flaunt their Rollex watches in the Green Room, nor do they brag about what a good deal they got on their house.

I bet that guy was a real dweeb in high school. We ought to see if we could find a yearbook picture of him.

Hmmm, Tony's French pronunciation is far superior to Joe Wilson's.

Help is on the way!

Chirac met Kofi Annan in Paris on Monday before the U.N. chief heads to the Middle East and North Africa, in a tour that was to include a visit to Iran, but Annan revised his itinerary in response to increasing tension over Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's call for Israel to be 'wiped off the map'. I'm afraid the conjunction "you're" has joined the ranks of "series" and "hugh". Everyone does it.

I'm convinced most FReepers don't even know that it's wrong!

They also murder, intentionally or not, their for there and vice versa. They don't seem to know the difference for that one, either.
