Thirty French police injured as rioters switched for the first time from arson to gunfire on 11th night of disorders sweeping France.
Sorry, that was just the title. Here is the article (admittedly short):
Some 200 youths were lobbing stones at police in Grigny south of Paris when some fired shotguns. Two officers were treated in hospital with lead shot wounds.
Why is the media treating this like a routine soccer match in Europe?
They're still calling it an, "Unrest."
Have you seen this???
Run away!!!
"Why is the media treating this like a routine soccer match in Europe?"
Careful analysis has revealed that the story is not "newsworthy" (does not suit the purposes of the worldwide organized hard left (WOHL) of which the media is a loyal part.)

Yes, I just cross-linked it to the live thread.

Well, you have to admit, the comparisons are striking, no?
Shotguns? How civil. At least they are not using evil assault weapons with cop-killer bullets!
It's time for France to break out the old standby.
IEDs are next.
Where is the grapeshot? They knew how to clear the streets in 1789.
Okay, thanks!
LOL!
Why aren't we reading headlines like ...
"30 rioters killed in crackdown on violence"
This would end very quickly if the Govt simply called a curfew and gave 'shoot to kill' orders for the police to use against anyone found engaged in violence.
Here's a snippet from a story in the New York Times, so you know that the jihadists are going to get as fair a shake as possible:
The latest violence began in the suburb of Clichy-sous-Bois a week ago after two teenagers were electrocuted by a power transformer while hiding from police. Local youths, who believed police had chased the boys into the transformer's enclosure, took to the streets, setting cars on fire in protest. A preliminary government inquiry found in a report released Thursday that the youths were not being pursued by the police.Isn't it quite possible that these youths were part of the jihadist movement in France?
Rioting Spreads in Paris Suburbs as Angry Youths Burn More Cars (NY Times, Nov 4, 2005)
It just seems all too convenient. If you think about it, it is the really the strategy that the jihadists have been using.
I can see the loathsome jihadist, crying crocodile tears, "You have killed our children! The Zionists are killing our children! We are only defending ourselves from the evil Zionists! We have done nothing! We are innocent!"
Am I crazy or does that make sense?
No, you're not crazy.
Why not call in the Foreign Legion. Those boys don't take any prisoners.
The guns have begun to come out. Waiting for the first RPG.
