WASHINGTON - It took Democrats about five seconds to trigger the parliamentary move that forced the Senate into a rare closed session last week, but it was more than a year in the planning.

The final decision to employ the tactic, which infuriated Republicans and exacerbated partisan animosity, was made in the Democratic leader's second-floor Capitol office Monday night, in a small gathering of his lieutenants.

If it's a year old, it probably originated between Daschle and Rockefeller, while Daschle still ran things. Daschle had to approve it, but Rockefeller would have cooked it up with the rogue CIA faction. Then when Daschel was deposed he passed it on to Reid.

I agree that this is probably part of a larger plot that originated with the Democrats on the Senate Intelligence Committee and their allies inside the CIA.

Someone should do the timeline, but I'm curious whether Wilson was brought in at the earliest stages as well. Or perhaps Plame brought Wilson in when the time was right.

It has been posted by other freepers that this whole thing could have (and was SUPPOSED to be) the "October(2004) Surprise" mentioned by her highness (I.E Queen of the Thighs)in early 2004, except Patrick took about a year longer than was anticipated. Everything was in place, the MSM was ready, F'n was ready with poor "Honest Joe" and his "just trying to do my secret job" wifey, and take down Rove, Cheney, and then Bush within a month or so of a national election, to give them almost NO TIME to defend themselves....kinda like the 2000 24 year old drunk driving thingeee.

Imagine if all this crap the dims are spewing since Libby's "arrest" was one year and one month earlier.....
