Democrats intensify Bush slams

By Donald Lambro THE WASHINGTON TIMES November 3, 2005

Democrats yesterday escalated their fiery attacks on President Bush's rationale for going to war by tying his decision to the indictment of a top administration aide in an aggressive political strategy that has energized the party's anti-war activist base. The day after Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid of Nevada forced the Senate into a rare closed-door session to debate whether Mr. Bush manipulated intelligence information about weapons of mass destruction in Iraq as a pretext for war, he and other Democratic leaders stepped up their rhetoric and demands in a bid to drive the issue back into the news. Howard Dean, the Democratic National Committee chairman, whose ill-fated 2004 presidential campaign was fueled by opposition to the war, called on the White House and Vice President Dick Cheney to "answer questions about their roles in manipulating intelligence information to build support for the war, smearing opponents of the war and covering up that smear campaign." House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi of California and Mr. Reid also sent Mr. Bush a letter asking him to apologize for the actions by Mr. Cheney's chief of staff, I. Lewis "Scooter" Libby and any other officials who may have been involved in the CIA leak investigation. That investigation led to Mr. Libby's indictment for purportedly lying to the FBI and the grand jury. Mr. Libby said he is innocent of all the charges. Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist returned fire yesterday, charging that Mr. Reid's tactical Senate ambush was "a political stunt that took us off what we need to be doing" about energy prices, deficit reduction and the economy.

Keep slamming the administration, liberals. You have no vision for America, so you will lose big again in '06. You will then discuss how you will change after getting slaughtered in the elections, then return to your angry, hate-filled speech about 2 days later.

These people are losers.

Democrats intensify Bush slams

Frist was right. They have no principles, no ideas, or no agenda to move America forward.

95% of the 2004 election campaign was about the war in Iraq where liberals and their media whores used everything under the sun to make it look like the war in Iraq was the worst thing that ever happened to the United States. From Richard Clark, to WMD, to 9/11 commission, to the CIA leak part 1, to the Jersey girls, to the armors, to the numbers of US troops killed in Iraq, to the weapons depot in Kaaka, etc… They tried it all and they failed miserably to defeat President Bush. On November 2nd 2004 the majority of Americans voted and told the Democrats “Screw you, we are not buying your lies, and we are not going to be defeated in Iraq, we are re-electing a true leader, President Bush”. Now these left wing morons are back fighting and using the same themes that lead them to utter defeat in the 2004 elections. I just cannot believe how stupid, and delusional the Left is!

We know that they can't win elections and trying to electronically lynch our president. That isn't going to happen.

This is been the plan for quite some time. Shame on them for using our security and the backs of our men and women in uniform for their own purposes. They set out to divide us, and they have. They are bringing this nation down.

"in an aggressive political strategy that has energized the party's anti-war activist base"

The far left Democrap base is not the problem. They're always energized with their visceral hatred of Bush. Its the rest of the country they can't get on-board with their lunacy.

Mitch is the whip so he's next in line at least logically.McConnell,Kyl, and Roberts are fine by me.

I like Allen because he has the calm laid back demeanor publicly while behind he scenes he's a gut puncher.

Didn't know Allen was that tough - just figured he might be pretty busy running for POTUS. :-)

The dimm’s game plan to “Win the Next Election” is to get the voters furious against “the Administration / Bush!”

This will ensure that people will be sooo outraged at the Republicans - that there is no way in hell - the Republicans will EVER win any election for a loooong time!

And the spineless, Repblican elected officials will not stand up and contest the dimms false acussations!

Dimms will win the game! That IS their game plan - And it IS working! People are falling for it and not wanting Republicans in office anymore!

Just check out Lou Doubs Rant ever day on his show! You’ll see his game plan (rant) against “the Administration” and Bush!

I have been watching the floor almost all day. The Dems are nuts. We do need to come up with a toupee fund for Carl Levin. I can’t stand looking at this comb over any more.
