So you don't think evolution means descended from one common ancestor? Great! I can agree with that!

I just worry about what is taught in local schools here. Cool. Why not just go all-out and push for flat-earth creationism? That's the one I'm rooting for. The earth must be flat - how else can angels preside over the four corners of the earth, like God told Isaiah?!

I would put this article under *adaptation* not evolution. What, pray tell, do you consider "evolution?" Evolution simply means change within a population over generations. That is exactly what happened here.

Other than smaller males and males having a different mating call, what other differences are there between the two?

"Science aims to elucidate. Pseudoscience aims to obfuscate." Very apropos tagline.

Hmmmmmm, this guy may not believe in intelligent design, but he definitely believes in intelligent frogs practicing eugenics. Not really. It's not a conscious decision on the female frogs' parts, just as it isn't a conscious decision on the parts of the girls who simply had no desire to go out with you.

One frog species gave rise to another frog species. That's SPECIATION. But, just keep moving those goalposts; soon you won't even be in the arena.

It's still a frog. It did not turn into a salamander or a snake. I would put this article under *adaptation* not evolution. It is a different species of frog. Evolution is all about The Origin of Species. If it turned into a salamander or a snake, that would disprove evolution.
To: savedbygrace
Evidently the two groups do not mate and can therefore be considered separate species.
Remember, "species" is simply a human term for a range of data points along a spectrum. Are lions and tigers separate species? Are horses and mules?

You'd think that one example of something that evolved would be the final nail in the coffinThe problem is this example doesn't support the idea of a higher level species with new features, evolving from a lower level species. Lateral evolution occurs, but that doesn't disprove creation.

I am not really sensitive. Just impatient with people who are less than truthful. But being an evo, you just can't help it. I really should have more sympathy for you and your kind I suppose.

A frog is a frog is a frog. What is your point? Did the frog sprout wings and fly? No? Hmmmm.....
