What bugged me the most was Frist looking like such a wimp. Slap in the face, indeed? How dare he act so blindsided! "They just aren't acting nice." Reminded me of Marvin the Martian.
Well, wuss, change Rule 21. Today.
Huh. He won't dare. This guy hopes to be prez?

The Democrats sure know how to do political
temper tantrums that end up making them the laughingstock of American politics in no time flat.

Need to set up the 9th secret CIA black prison on the Dem side of the aisle and let them inspect and report on it for a couple of years (firsthand from the inside).

Despite rampant vote fraud, them Dims have not been able to win at the ballot box and now resort to parliamentary tricks to try and impose their will. I personally think this whole charade is not about investigating the intelligence that sent us to War against Iraq, but to mobilize their deadbeat base to
1. Oppose Alito
2. Prepare for mid term elections in '06 and general elections in '08
I hope the public is at least intelligent enough to see through this.
Reid, Pelosi, Boxer, Kennedy, Clinton and their comrades do not have the best interests of the country at heart, only their selfish political agendas and personal futures.

If the Dem's keep this up they will be playing right into the hands of Saddam Hussein's lawyers argument that it was an unjust illegal war and Saddam should be set free and he is the true elected president of Iraq.

The Democrats realized that they are not going to get Carl Rove and then lost Tom DeLAy, therefore, lost their grip on the headlines,(4th down and desperate) so it was time for a grandstand play. Too bad they about to be sacked again.

How about a call for Reid's resignation. It would never happen but it might wake up a few folks in Nevada ,which, by all rights, should be a red state.

I heard a quick blurb on Laura Ingraham. It was something about bomb sniffing dogs being called out by this special session, some kind of automatic procedure. This sounds like some kind of EMERGENCY session if I heard correctly.
Yes, a minority leader should be able to call for an emergency session, but if that power is abused for grandstanding purposes, it should be a complete outrage. It's up to the rats who represents them. So if they insist on this, a repeat performance should, sadly, strip him of this power. And that would be unfortunate.
FRegards....

I heard a guest on Ingraham, a senator I think, who mentioned that the rats want to block mentioning rat statements regarding WMDs and focus only on GOP statements. If that was what Reid intended this emergency session for, it's even worse than most think.

This entire episode has given me a complete case of the a$$!
My son is in the US Marines, ready to deploy again to the ME - then this (unbelievable string of obscenity) "Senator" pulls this stunt.
Screw this aid and comfort to the enemy - Hey Harry, why don't you just hand-carry ammo to the bad guys?
My disgust is beyond measure.

Good observations. What makes me sick to my stomach is that Reid and many of these Democrats know damn well that Bush didn't manipulate intelligence to get us into this war. And they know this since many of these same Demorats were saying these same things when it
supported their president's actions.
What's sick is that it doesn't occur to them that by perpetuating this lie they are not only harming Bush...they are giving our enemies the very excuses they need to continue their hatred and attacks on this country and innocent Americans. These Democrats are doing nothing but reinforcing the very hatred that our enemies have for us...and in way, further justifying their attacks against us. As far as I'm concerned, they are traitors.
I wish someone like Scaiffe or some other wealthy Republicans would start running ads pointing out the Dems dangerous hypocrisy. Even better, our own Congressman just need to get off their arse and start pointing out these truths. I'm beginning to lose patience with our own side...especially when if comes to the lives of our soldiers and citizens.

I wonder if Reid & Co. are thinking what I used to hear from those opposed to the Viet Nam Conflict, "We should pull out troops out and let the GD gooks kill each other off."
