DimcRats are becoming a "Clear and Present Danger" to this Nation. Damn them all.
If the Dems do this again, all the Republicans should just get up and leave the room.
The Democrats are liars. They have defected from a war they themselves authorized and they have blackened the reputation of Americans more effectively than al-Jazeera. These leftist partisan hacks have put politics above principle so securely that they give al-Jazeera and the terrorists confirmation of Americas evil intentions from the mouth of the beast.
Amen. We are currently at war and the democrats are giving comfort food to the enemy.
You never leave the ground to the enemy.
bttt
Why be "nice" at the expense of truth? That helps nobody.
Keep taking it to them, David!
Amazing how people wanting to bash the President find they have to get in bed with Saddam Hussein to do it, and then they don't even hesitate to do just that.
That wimpy weasel and his crew of socialist make me sick. They should all get on a boat and go to Cuba where they will fit in.
No, but you may deprive them of a quorum.
If the Democratic side continues to abuse the rules, there is nothing left to do but for the Republican side to completely CHANGE THE RULES.
What a disservice is being done to our Country, by this lying, selfish, power-hungry group. They are anti-American, anti-Christian, anti-law & order.
I despite anyone who claims to be a RAT. In fact, the RAT party needs to be exterminated like the vermin they are.
And why wasn't this caravan destroyed from 15,000 feet above?
With the stakes, why wasn't the Iraqi-Syrian border guarded by our superior military technology?
What an embarrassment for the State of Nevada. I find it hard to believe that they would have such a jackass representing them.
Displaying all the finesse of Mongo in Blazing Saddles, Sen. Harry Reid hijacked and shut down the Senate yesterday, throwing that august body into double-secret session so that the American People could at last learn THE TRUTH.
And while I agree with him that the odds generally are in favor of more truth being exposed when we don't know what they're saying than when we actually have to listen to them, the whole thing goes beyond silliness, even for Washington.
Kathryn Lopez at the Corner on National Review Online got to the heart of it yesterday with this quote from Animal House:
Otter: No, I think we have to go all out. I think that this situation absolutely requires a really futile and stupid gesture be done on somebody's part.
Bluto: We're just the guys to do it.
Let me add this one, useful for most any occasion in the theater of politics:
"Mr. Town, you behave as if stupidity were a virtue. Why is that?" Hardy Kruger - Flight of the Phoenix
If it was sooooo secret that they had to have a closed door session, wouldn't it be considered a breech of national security for the 'Rats to tell what went on behind those close doors? I think we need an INVESTIGATION that lasts, lets say, TWO YEARS.
On the one hand, Frist got snookered by Reid here.
OTOH, this fit of pique by the Dems shows how desperate they are and makes it even clearer that they simply cannot be trusted with the security of this nation. I think we witnessed another step in the Dems journey to oblivion.
This article is right on.
It is Reid and his ilk that have encouraged our enemies. The enemy watches the TV and hears and knows everything we say. The vile coming from Reid and his ilk have done nothing but shore up the determination of our enemy. We have soldiers spilling blood because of this. Had Reid and his ilk stood behind the President and supported this war it would be even more successful than it is right now. but no...these people are so damned angry and power hungry that they will do and say anything to make it miserable for our President.
Imagine folks...we are fighting a war and the MSM doesn't even report on it honestly. It's always doom and gloom on the part of the msm and the left. Why don't they interview the teachers, women and children who are going to school? Why don't they interview the soldiers who have personally done so many wonderful things for the people of Iraq. What about the photos of the children smiling and having fun with our soldiers? What about the Physicians treating injured children? I think they all want us to lose this war so they can say they were right all along. It's not about anything EXCEPT bashing the President of our country ove and over and over again in front of God and the world. How's that for being an American?
Well Sen Reid, you have made your point. You have continued to believe that President Bush went to war becuase he wanted attention. Why in hell would he want attention? You guys have given him all the attention anyone would ever want.
I pity Sen Reid and those of his ilk (and they know who they are) I hope they are proud of bashing our President and continuting to put in more and more danger the lives of our brave soldiers. The blood of our soldiers is on the hands of reed and the rest of that vile pack.
I hope they can live with themselves each time a soldier loses his life because they have helped the enemy against the United States like no others have.
Shame on you Reid...what you would do for power is beyond belief and beyond what any good American would EVER do against his country.
I think Reid should not only apologize to Frist for going behind his back and for a closed session (which is not the courteous procedure as stated,) but he should also apologize to the soldiers, their families, our President and the rest of the country for the horror he he created yesterday AND... while he should hang his head in shame for what he has done and the damage that will result from it...I think on top of it all he should RESIGN effective immediately.
God please keep our military soldiers from harm that will come because of one little man's arrogance!
