The Threat Matrix

The title refers to a daily report given to the president of the United States detailing the most serious terrorist threats against the country. To tackle those threats, the government has formed a top-notch task force to infiltrate the terror cells and cut off the danger.

"Every morning, the president receives a list of the top ten terrorist threats - this list is known as the threat matrix."

We here at FR are trying to be in conjunction with the daily reports around the world that involve threats. We try to provide a storehouse of information that takes hours of research.

Complete 9/11 Anniversary Video Message from Azzam the American Warns of Attacks in Los Angeles and Melbourne

An 11:24 minute video featuring a speech allegedly orated by Azzam the American AKA Adam Gadahn was disseminated across several jihadist forums yesterday, November 6, 2005. The video, produced by al-Sahab productions, an al-Qaeda production company, was reported to have been delivered to ABC News on the eve of September 11, 2005, and 1:54 minutes of it was broadcast the day of the fourth anniversary of the 9/11 attacks.

Azzam the American, featured as wearing a black mask and holding a machine gun, speaks in English as he explicates the objectives of al-Qaeda and the mujahideen. In this regard, he notes an ignorance of the Western people resulting from the alleged fabrications and masking of truth by Western government and media seeking to protect President George W. Bush and Prime Minister Tony Blair. Addressing the Western people directly, Azzam the American states that to ensure their security, it is their cumulative interest to overthrow their “rogue rulers;” to remain silent constitutes acceptance and will lead to “unpleasant consequences.” Further, he warns that the mujahideen should not be expected to demonstrate “restraint and compassion,” and states: “Yesterday, London and Madrid. Tomorrow, Los Angeles and Melbourne, Allah willing.”

Currently, the FBI is seeking information on Adam Gadahn , sought in connection with possible terrorist threats against the United States.

The warning gives a period of 24-hours in which these attacks should cease, else “they will see only death crawling to them picking up their sons and likewise.”
