I read the whole thing.
Look.....NO flames. :-)
Glad you're OK, Ian.
We were starting to worry until Revel tracked you down. ;-)

Meteorology?
hehe, you'd think.
No, I was doing political science, but I was hoping I would be able to focus more on the terrorism aspect. The school ended up being much more state focused, and concerned with preparing people to be teachers. At this point, I would have been happier with a more policy oriented program. I'm likely going to start looking into jobs in the field now, but I'm not sure there is much availabe in this immediate area... so a move to NYC or DC might be in the future.

'Europeans should create Jewish State'
Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad continued his anti-Israel rhetoric Thursday afternoon, denying the Holocaust and calling on Germany and Austria to create a Jewish State within their borders, Israel Radio reported.
"We do not believe that Hitler killed six million Jews, but even if this is true by some chance, then why should the Palestinians pay the price for it," he asked, and suggested that the governments in Vienna and Berlin concede two or three provinces to the Zionists and settle the Israeli-Palestinian conflict once and for all.
"If Germany and Austria feel responsible that the Jewish people suffered at their hands during the Second World War, then all they should do is create a Zionist State in their territory," he said in a television interview in Teheran.

Judeoscope - Jamaat al-Muslimeen CONGRATULATES Prof. Sami Al-Arian
Jamaat al-Muslimeen is a radical Islamist organization operating in Canada and the USA
This is indeed a slap in the face for Emerson and OReilly who worked hard and long to defame and smear Prof. Al-Arian. A totally innocent man has been degraded and demeaned and humiliated for years simply because he is a Palestinian and wants Palestine to prosper.
[Personal congratulations go out from Dr. Kaukab Siddique and Imam Badi Ali [North Carolina] to Prof. Al-Arian and his children, Abdullah and Laylah. His children were so wonderful in that entire ordeal! All Muslims should be proud of them.]
Jamaat al-Muslimeen urges Muslims of America: BREAK YOUR SILENCE, SPEAK OUT OPENLY and CLEARLY against the Zionist oppressors who have taken over America. Prof. Al-Arian had never done anything against America. He suffered simply because he is an Islamic Palestinian. Dont be afraid, dear Muslims, come out and speak against the oppressors, as the Prophet, pbuh, commanded Hassan ibn Thabit, r.a: Do the Hujw [poetic analysis and condemnation] of the oppressors.
[Remember that the Zionists will not give up Prof. Al-Arian easily though they have lost a major battle.]

Cool. We could always use more terrorist trackers in the NYC area ;)

December 8, 2005
Washington D.C.
FBI National Press Office
(202) 324-3691
On December 2, 2005, an Egyptian male was detained by Transportation Security Administration (TSA) officials while passing through a security checkpoint at JFK Airport in New York City. Preliminary field testing of the individual's shoes showed a positive hit for explosive materials being contained in the shoes. The shoes were confiscated by TSA officials and turned over to the FBI for further analysis.
Analysis of the shoes was performed at the FBI Laboratory and it was determined that no explosive materials were present in the passenger's shoes. This individual was also interviewed by Special Agents of the FBI and Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) in Waterloo, Iowa, and it was determined that he poses no security threat.

I'm allergic to cats as well. My roommate in college had a cat who brought me his treasures and left them on my bed. Do you think kitties know we're allergic? Most cats who are otherwise non-social always come sit next to me and curl up. (HaCHOO!)
You're welcome, Cindy. Thanks for all your research.
Also, if you don't mind I would like to pass on your Christmas page.
And in the summer of 2007, it is scheduled to be demolished.
The end is coming for the San
Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge, which
for more than 65 years has borne
more traffic and superlatives than
most bridges on Earth. The
double-deck structure - a hybrid of
two suspension spans, a cantilever
section and a truss bridge - remains
the busiest bridge in the nation,
carrying more than 270,000 vehicles a day. <<<<
Now I understand why the Bay Bridge was issued a threat.
Thank you.
