The Threat Matrix

The title refers to a daily report given to the president of the United States detailing the most serious terrorist threats against the country. To tackle those threats, the government has formed a top-notch task force to infiltrate the terror cells and cut off the danger.

"Every morning, the president receives a list of the top ten terrorist threats - this list is known as the threat matrix."

"Complete September 2005 Interview with Dr. Ayman al-Zawahiri Conducted by al-Sahab

An English-subtitled video containing the complete interview from September 2005 with Dr. Ayman al-Zawahiri, conducted by al-Sahab, an al-Qaeda production company, was issued today, December 5, 2005. This interview, 43:45 minutes in length, is the full recording of which the Arabic satellite channel, al-Jazeera, aired 5:30 minutes on September 19, 2005.


The video begins with Zawahiri’s critique of the United Nations. He claims that the “United Nations is part of the crusader kingdom,” but is conspicuously silent on the effects of the Iraqi embargo, while loudly announcing the atrocities in Darfur, Sudan.


Further, Zawahiri tells the interviewer that “al-Qaeda is spreading, expanding, and growing in numbers and strength,” adding that “the battle [against the west] is still in its first skirmishes.”


He goes on to dismiss criticism that al-Qaeda no longer exists as a group but only as an ideology, reiterating that the group is growing in numbers. He adds here that “the Qaida al-Jihad Group’s latest operation was the blessed raid on London.” He spends several minutes justifying these attacks and verbally assailing the state of Britain and its latest deportation of several radical clerics, including Abu Qatada, who Zawahiri states that England has no room for, while allowing Salman Rushdie to take refuge.


Several times throughout the interview, Zawahiri states that one of the great blunders of the U.S. and Britain was announcing shortly after the London attacks that it was preparing plans for a withdrawal from Iraq. This, Zawahiri remarks, is “the blundering that comes before defeat,” adding that the “specter of Vietnam blocks all their escape routes.”


Zawahiri, throughout, addresses the Muslim masses and the mujahideen, calling for everyone to stand up in the name of jihad, and to attack oil reserves in Arabia. Likewise, he addresses westerners and in particular, Americans, asking them to sit and ask themselves clear, honest questions about their thoughts on their country’s policies, and the reasons behind past attacks from Muslims.


In closing, Zawahiri asks all media production and internet companies to release the interview in “all languages and as widely as possible.” "

Germany files terrorism charge against three alleged al-Qaida suspects

BERLIN


German federal prosecutors filed terrorism charges Tuesday against three men accused of being members of al-Qaida or of supporting the organization.

Ibrahim Mohamed K., a 30-year-old Syrian national who lived in Mainz, and Yasser Abu S., a 32-year-old Palestinian who lived in Marburg were arrested in January. They were charged with membership in a terrorist organization.

Yasser's brother, Ismail Abu S., who was arrested in May, was charged with the lesser count of supporting a terrorist organization.

Federal Prosecutor Kay Nehm said Ibrahim Mohamed K. trained at Osama bin Laden's camps in Afghanistan and fought American forces there. He also allegedly recruited suicide attackers in Germany _ including Yasser Abu S. _ and provided logistical help to al-Qaida.

Among other things, in 2004 he tried to procure nuclear material, but was unsuccessful, Nehm said in a statement.

I don't know if I knew of this or not, it is so close to the other family that was killed, via, the website connection.

Shame some of the talk show people don't or didn't pick it up and talk about it.

What do you think about the Tehran air crash?

If it is / was already the 7th, there, then it was an
accident on the #19, or 12+7=19, I know I don't really believe in all the numbers, but cannot resist playing with them.

They haven't given much details on the radio, 25 dead on the ground and 90 on the plane..

The 2 female bombers in Iraq, makes 3 females, about right, deaths come in 3's, is the old superstitution.

That means 2 more plane crashes, will happen shortly.

Reporters among fatalities in Tehran plane crash

MNA, Tehran, 06.12.2005 -- A number of reporters and filmmakers are among those killed in a plane crash in southern Tehran which happened this afternoon, the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB) reported.

Reporters from the IRIB, IRNA, ISNA, and Fars news agencies have been killed in the incident, IRIB said.

A C-130 military aircraft with 84 passengers and ten crewmen on board crashed into a ten-story building as it tried to make an emergency landing minutes after take-off at Mehrabad airport.

The plane’s destination was Bandar Abbas in southern Iran.

Exploding pens injure three at SoCal high schools


EL MONTE, Calif. Authorities are trying to find out who placed booby-trapped pens that have injured three people at two Southern California high schools.

The pens were lying on the ground at Rosemead High School and El Monte High School and exploded when people pulled off their caps.

Victims suffered minor burns and scratches on their hands and faces.

A detective with the Los Angeles County Sheriff's bomb squad says the devices may be home-made.

First thought: Is he one of our missing scientists?

Second thought: The sheriffs departments around Denver do not have a good reputation.....Remember the Jon Renee Ramsey case?

There is a strange one right now, a six year old is missing, reported by dad and girlfriend as a runaway, after a fight over getting in the cookies........a month ago.

The cops searched for 3 or 4 days, then decided that she is dead, have hunted for the body, can't find it and refuse to hunt for a live child.

Local groups, are forming groups to hunt.

Something is very wrong and I fear the police are not on the ball......again.

The above is a rough report, as I keep hearing it on 850koa.com radio and it hurts to much for me to absorb all the details.

My first thought was also the missing scientists because of the knowledge this man has/had.

After reading the longer report it really appears as though his wife is only after money which would be a good motive for him to have met an early demise. The saddest part is his father having cancer and will probably never know what happened to his son.

If one gets tired of googles, go to Yahoo Groups, choose any subject and then look for the open message groups and then check for terrorist messages.

The first ones that I got, came through Yahoo groups, that had died, so the terrorists took them over.

One that was sent to the FBI, was though a doll club.

I never thought the doll club group was involved, it had been set up for folks who wanted to know when the owner had designed a new doll, once or twice a year, I had joined to be sure that I got a chance to see them.

Suddenly the jihadi calls came, I know now they were heavy stuff, then I guessed they were, called the Phoenix FBI read one to him and he wanted them sent direct to him.

That must have been my start, wow, what I have learned since then.

IRAN: PLANE CRASH IN TEHRAN KILLS ALL PASSENGERS

Tehran, 6 Dec. (AKI) - An Iranian military aircraft has crashed into a residential district in the south of the capital Tehran and according to the city's mayor, all 94 people on board the plane have been killed. Iranian state television said the plane was attempting an emergency landing shortly after it had taken off from the Mehrabad airport. The Hercules C-130 was carrying journalists, photographers and cameramen who had been covering military manoeuvres at Bandar Abbas in the Persian Gulf.

Iranian media reports say the aircraft ploughed into a ten-storey building in a neighbourhood close to the airport, causing an explosion and setting the building on fire. Some 25 people inside the building are reported to have died. All of the capital's hospitals were immediately put on alert to receive casualties from the disaster and it is feared the death toll will rise further.

The head of the rescue services in Tehran, Dr Panahi, was quoted by the Iranian ISNA news agency as saying that 132 people were injured.

The security forces have surrounded the crash scene, preventing any media access. There were reports that journalists and cameramen, including those working for Iranian state television, were beaten by security officials when they tried to approach the area where the plane crashed.

In a telephone interview with Adnkronos International (AKI), one resident in Shahram Towhid, the neighbourhood where the plane crashed, described a scene of "total chaos" and the "disorganisation of the rescue operations". The same source also confirmed that dozens of family members of the people on the C-130 flight have descended on the scene of the plane crash, but had not been allowed to get close to the site.

The last serious air accident in Iran was on 19 February 2003, when an Ilyushin-76 which was transporting troops, crashed in the southeast of the country, killing all 276 people on board, including Revolutionary Guards and members of the flight crew.
