Granny, aren't a couple of cities called "Queen City" even though they have other, formal names? Then, there's the borough, Queens, NY.

"Ventura County Fire Rages; 3,700 Acres Burned"
ARTICLE SNIPPET: "(AP) VENTURA, Calif. Winds are calmer today in Ventura County, and that's helping firefighters in their battle against a 3,700 acre wildfire that prompted the voluntary evacuation of 200 ridge-top homes.
The fire is about 30 percent contained this morning, after nearly doubling in size overnight."

[Dutch] Teen who wanted to shoot down El Al plane released
Jerusalem Post ^ | 11/19/5 | JPost.com staff

Prosecutors in Holland are considering appealing a court's ruling to release 19-year-old Samir Azuz, a Dutch citizen of Moroccan descent suspected of wanting to shoot down an El AL plane over Amsterdam's Schipol Airport.
According to Army Radio, the court said that it was convinced that Azuz had terrorist intentions, however, he did not have the means at his disposal with which to act on those intentions.
Therefore, according to the court ruling, a person with only intent cannot be convicted of planning terrorist attacks.
I'm not sure but the other buildings do look a lot like NYC ... haven't been able to find a photo from that exact angle to verify it though. There isn't a bridge in that location however.
The photo is clearly a composite, even if it's not NYC. I'm not sure that the exact city would matter from their point of view as long as the jihadi banners and the WTC were clearly visible.

"Venezuelans Divided by Chavez"
Saturday, November 19, 2005
ARTICLE SNIPPET: "CARACAS, Venezuela Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez accuses Washington of plotting to overthrow him, calls President Bush a "murderer" and is expelling some American missionaries who he insists have links to the CIA."
OPINION: Chavez sure is unusually paranoid lately. I wonder what's in that coffee he's drinking?
Anyway, he keeps repeating the same, old tired lies.
I'm recalling the adage (paraphrasing) that if one repeats a lie often enough;
it will begin to sound like truth.

ARTICLE SNIPPET: "What is this baloney that there were no connections between Iraq and Osama bin Laden? Even the 9/11 Commission Report, which I believe is lacking in many respects, includes some useful findings all but ignored today by the media and war critics. Consider the following excerpts:"
It looks like NYC to me. The picure is taken from the other side of the East River, probably about opposite the U.N building looking towards the lower part of Manhattan from the East. The bridge is the Brooklyn Bridge and you can see the waterfront buildings of Brooklyn to the left of the picture.

Indeed- we've been beating this drum for years:
-Weapons of Mass Destruction ( or Distorsion or Deception? You decide...)--
seven unknown type of missiles<<<
Now why did I think of chemicals and biohazards?
Of course, that would be if they also had WMD's.
"Queen City" even though they
have other, formal names? Then, there's the borough, Queens, NY.<<<
Yes.
I keep thinking of Elizabeth, New Jersey.
http://www.google.com/search?client=googlet&q=Elizabeth%2C%20New%20Jersey
http://www.google.com/search?client=googlet&q=towns%20named%20for%20a%20queen%20in%20U.S.

And every Queen needs a King, does that take us back to Prince George or King George, it does keep popping up.
What if the 10,000 dead, is really instructions to use 10,000 pounds of explosive, as in fertilizer or gas?
Of course if that bridge is blown, then the people are trapped.
Leave it to the Dutch. More judges like Van der Sloot etal!
This has been going on as long as I can remember. California was where all the illegals went to in the beginning [at leaast 20 years]. Some of us were yelling but no one listened and DC still doesn't listen.
Ruth, how do you listen to KGO? Do you have a short wave radio, or listen on the internet?
I was wondering about that flag as well.
Did you get the pic transferred over here? I will go take a look for the new info.

Estimated 3000 Foreign Terrorists In Iraq
BBC News ^ | 11/19/05 | jamese777@aol.com

New study details Iraq insurgency
Up to 3,000 foreign insurgents may be fighting in Iraq, but they
remain a small part of the overall rebellion, a US military analyst has
suggested. Algerians, Syrians and Yemenis are most numerous among
foreign insurgents, said ex-White House aide Anthony Cordesman.
Mr Cordesman, a veteran analyst, used Saudi and other regional
security studies to collate data on insurgents.
The figure is three times as large as unofficial Pentagon estimates, but
may total no more than 10% of insurgents.
The Iraqi insurgency remains largely home-grown, Mr Cordesman
added, with 90% or more hailing from Iraq.
"If there are anything like 3,000 fighters in Iraq, this poses a serious
threat," Mr Cordesman said in a report for the Center for Strategic and
International Studies, a Washington think-tank.
