I finally made it. Anybody know how to stop a cat from using the carpeting on my stairs as a scratching post?
This is why people don't understand President Bush. It's hard to come out swinging when you spend so much time in the Oval laughing your Ass off with Karl. :)

I know what you mean! It's a real bummer having work interfere with Freeping! I don't even have a sound card, so have to rely on the kindness of fellow Freepers to find out what's going on. Everyone's help is greatly appreciated!!

Get a spray bottle, put some tap water in it, and spray when kitty claws the carpet. They don't like it, but it's harmless. After a while all you have to do is show the bottle to 'em and it will stop!

Sounds like a personal problem!!!

De-claw the cat. Make it stay in the house. It will then only rub it's paws on the carpet. They can do it with laser's now, much easier on the cat.
