As soon as they go back into session, EVERY Republican that gets floortime should spend that time reading quotes from Clinton, Kerry, and Kennedy stating what a menace Sadaam's WMD threat was, from '98 on. Let the sheeple see that it was not the evil Bush that first made the claim. Someone should also point out what a lying scumbag Joe Wilson is. Time to stop playing nicey-nice with the RATS.

The Democrats have just done what I didn't think possible. Convinced me to elect and support every single Republican I possibly can in the country despite past grievances.

I want the Republican Senate to draw Dem blood, but I will guarentee this. If they don't, I WILL in '06. As will millions like myself. They crossed the line, prepare for payback you damn unconscionable treasonous snakes.

Only a unprincipled cowards resort to this. You think losing the House, Senate, Governor seats, W.H. are bad? Prepare for Alito. prepare for the next person we nominate, and we WILL make the next appointment. prepare to lose every damn red and blue seat in the country with even moderately sensible voters.

Nothing yet, he went to the print reporters, not the microphones. So we'll get quotes from an unnamed 'official on Capitol Hill'.

Figures

BTW .. it's against the rules to talk about what is being said in the senate in closed session

Ok, you can call me ignorant but, why was Scooter indicted then?

Making false statements during an investigaytion. I don't condone such behavior but I can't get over the irony that if there had been no investigation there would have been no crime.

"I agree. What form do you think this civil war is going to take, and how long before it spills into the streets?"

A dicey question, but I know that it is on more than one mind as of late.

Something has to give. An open discussion of this would be informative. I know it's delicate, but an intelligent person realizes that it is possible. It can be avoided, but only if there is an open dialouge. Just my opinion.

I wish I could be a fly on the wall in the senate chamber right now. My guess is the Pubs are sending a very interesting message.

Appropriately, Leahy is the first Dem to come out and leak what was going on in closed session.

The dems are shutting down the government.

We need to make that point over and over.

Yes! The people don't like shutting down the government. Just ask Newt Gingrich how well that tactic works!

You cannot play games or "make nicey" with the Dems.

Someday, and I hope it is not too late, the Repubs will wake up to this fact and fight them on their terms.
