Appropriately, Leahy is the first Dem to come out and leak what was going on in closed session What did he say?

You can't object to Rule 21. But they can vote to open the session back up.

Pat's only on our side when there's nothing to lose. When the chips are down, he shows his true, self-promoting, say-anything-to-get-on-TV-or-the-Imus-Show self.

I made my first contribution in over 1 year to the Republican National Committee TODAY - I told them I was happy for the recent turn of events and will do ALL I can to help DEFEAT those enemies of America - namely Senators and Representatives of the democratic/communist party. I encourage all of you who have sat on the fence to get off now and start the money flowing in and let's send OUR message along with an e-mail to Harry Reid and company!
Start a border security PAC and I'll contribute to it. That'll send more of a message rather than blank checks.

I'm making the argument against changing Rule XXI.
Sorry, forgot to add a "not" to my post. Should read.
Abuse is abuse. If the Democrats insist on continuing this abuse day after day, I see no reason not to enact the rule change until this congress is completed.

Bad things happen when people with great but fleeting power "snap". While we're all having a good laugh at this (and well deserved) watch what the h*ll these guys try to do.True. But I can't help laughing. I'll get back down to earth soon. Hopefully, the Senate pubbies learn from this.

This is the Democrat Offensive strategy to obstruct any changes. To force moderate Dems to circle the wagons and stand firm together against Supreme nomination, budget cuts and more.

Nothing yet, he went to the print reporters, not the microphones. So we'll get quotes from an unnamed 'official on Capitol Hill'.

For perjury, lying to the grand jury.
Not for outing a CIA super-secret undercover operative.

Ok, you can call me ignorant but, why was Scooter indicted then? For lying about what he said to Russert
It has NOTHING to do with going to war
SP Fitz even said so at the Presser on Friday

Too bad - maybe the Repubs should have stayed in closed session and brought up Alito's nomination to an immediate vote. That would have blown the Democrats right out of the water!
