The majority of the American people still rely upon the MSM to get their information. WE, the political junkies across the net, on both sides, are obviously much more in the game. However, to just acquiesce on the media battle, as the GOP has done the last number of years is having an impact on the perception of the American people. It's obvious through anecdotal observation, polling, comments and the overall sour mood of the country even though we're winning the war, we're safe at home, our economy continues to roll along and we're in really good condition.
Yet, ask the general public about the state of our Nation and the majority will believe we're a month away from depression and world war.
We have seriously been getting our asses kicked in the PR battle about this war, this administration, this economy and this Nation. You can only say "f**k em" so many times before you've lost the game you've always had in front of you.
The GOP base is tired of getting kicked in the teeth and being told to simply turn the other cheek. Especially when it concerns the soldiers who are dying in duty. For the sake of our military, it's time to stop saying "screw em" and to start fighting back.
It can be done without looking hysterical or frantic. It has to be done with a clear eye on the destruction of our enemy - here and abroad.

He went on about lies and then snapped at reporters and got really angry. I didn't listen to his content,,,I just cannot listen to dems on Iraq, they lie and it is so enraging. But Reid was on the verge of spinning like Rumplestiltskin down thru the center of the earth.

The most painful thing we can do to them is ignore themThe country isn't ignoring the substance of their message though. The Republicans need to own the message if they are going to sustain the will and they don't right now.
Is it just me, or does Nelson almost sound like he is embarrassed by what his dem leader did today?

Instead of being fed up with Republicans you might try writing letters to the MSM and some of our lowlife dem congresscreatures and sinators.
It would surprise me to learn that you've been able to look in my mailbox to see who I have or have not written letters to. I reserve the right to be FED UP.

"George Allen on FNC called Reid's tantrum an "absurd stunt" and a "sucker punch".
Excellent! Show the Dims to be the souring cry babies that they are.
To: Peach
Good to see somebody is keeping a record of the facts.
Unfortunately because the White House and Republicans aren't countering the garbage and smears coming from the left and the media, the public seems to be turning more and more against Bush on Iraq and just about everything else lately. Just look at the polls.

"We have GOT to remind the left that Clinton's Justice Department obtained a federal indictment against OBL which states that it was known that OBL had an agreement with Iraq not to attack Iraq in exchange for weapons development." Yep, 24/7 until it sinks in. I hope the rest of the country sees these unprincipled and unethical aparatchiks for what they are.

What he said was that THE HEARINGS HAD ALREADY BEEN SCHEDULED BEFORE THIS STUNT BY REID AND DURBIN.
To: Mo1
Roberts I bet will make Joe Wilson the issue.

Mol, it's difficult for people who just got to this thread to get past the hysterics from some here. Can you do a sane and reasoned recap? I've got to step out for a few minutes.
To: Soul Seeker
They are already hurting the Dems in next weeks elections. In 2006 we deliver the coup de grace.
