I just got a call from Genevieve Peters. She will be IN STUDIO with John & Ken
on KFI 640AM at 4 pm (CA time)!!!
(FWIW, KFI has the LARGEST AUDIENCE of ALL the talk radio stations in Los Angeles.)
...Last Friday, Schwarzenegger supporter Genevieve Peters attended a downtown Los Angeles union rally. She did not shout down speakers with chants of "Shame on you! Shame on you!" Instead, Peters waved her "Go for It, Arnold" placards. Union protesters hit Peters with picket signs while one labor militant tried to block KCAL-TV's camera from videotaping the scene. An enraged woman in an orange security vest grabbed Peters's placards and ripped them to shreds right in her face.
Union thug bump.
I wonder if the kind security guard is the same lady caught on tape looting in uniform in New Orleans a few weeks ago....
That's an interesting statement. They are probably the most outspoken in the media regarding our unsecured borders. In the entire southwest region of the United States, who else in your opinion, has put this issue on the front burner more that John and Ken?
John and Ken can do an extraordinary service to our cause...
...and still be annoying. :o)
John and Ken can do an extraordinary service to our cause...
Obviously.
Why do you find them annoying?
Dispictable actions by the union thugs.
That Arnold supporter is one brave woman!
This incident reminded me of the brutal Teamsters attack on Don & Terri Adams which was also videotaped by TV news cameras.
Why do you find them annoying? While I do not listen to them enough to give you a COMPLETE list, but they spent WAY too much time (IMHO) on Scott Peterson, Gary Condit, the girl who was lost/murdered in Aruba, the Robert Blake trial, etc.
John & Ken are POPULISTS, I think, whose actions are the result of what is currently the "rage of the day" -- rather than the product of any deeply held beliefs, grounded in any consistent political philosophy.
Hmmm

You say this like it's a bad thing for people in the media to be. They are talk show host. What would you prefer they be?
POPULISTS.
pop·u·list
n. A supporter of the rights and power of the people.

I just find this statement curious.
What deeply held beliefs would you be referring to? Is there something more to believe in than where we live, worship, and raise our families? Is there something you hold more deeply than the very sovereignty and security of America?
Hi, this is merry10. I met all you guys last July at the Reagan Library and at Rabid Dog's house. Genevieve came to the brunch at Marie Callendar's and then went to the library with us. I remember sitting with her at brunch; she is very passionate and outspoken.
John and Ken were instrumental in getting 3 strikes passed after the murder of Polly Klaas.
