The underlying point is that she was not elected. I have nothing against her. I just think that she did not speak extemporaneously--she must have been vetted. That said, I would like to forgive the Bush team for their much timidity. JeffAtlanta is on OUR side. Haven't we had enough infighting? He, myself, and others less timid know that conservatism wins and compromise loses. Pop the cork because the GOP train is on the right, right track to victory.

To follow up on the thought: The Senate Jackasses who vote against Condoleezza Rice to be Secretary of State are: Akaka, Bayh, Boxer, Byrd, Dayton, Durbin, Harkin, Jeffords, Kennedy, Kerry, Lautenberg, Levin, Reed. These 13 morons and the 22 morons (some duplicate morons) who voted against Roberts are anti-American, anti-capitalist, and do not believe in the Constitution. Senate Democrats (actually socialists) seek to undermine individual freedom in favor of collectivism. They would have been at home in the former USSR.
To: pleikumud
I notice Ken Salazar of Colorado is not on your list. Did he vote for Roberts? And here I've been thinking he's the scum of the earth...

Speaking of undermining individual freedom in favor of collectivism, it's high time the U.S. withdrew from Agenda 21 and its Smart Growth utopian nonsense. Keep pushing right!

Being married to the President means that she has to give up her right to free speech and just be 'a wife.' That's just weird, Jeff. Just weird. This is why you are continually included in the "my president, right or wrong" group. Any time the president or the first lady is criticized for anything at all, you go into super defense mode and start making wild accusations.
I said that she SHOULDN'T mouth off and due to her situation should be very careful with what she said. How exactly am I taking away her 1st amendment rights?
Were the Dixie Chicks deprived of their first amendment rights when American's criticized their actions and claimed that they were inappropriate?
Laura can say whatever she wants - Terresa Heinz sure did and it worked out great for her and her husband.

Pop the cork because the GOP train is on the right, right track to victory.Amen to that!!!
Just shows what a little public discourse can do to get the party back in the right direction.
