"keen?"
keen is putting it mildly. LOL

Gonzales is a JOKE!

Look at the mess we have with illegals and the border/ports.

One more 9/11 type attack in America and GWB can bend over and kiss his legacy goodbye!

Of all the strong conservative lawyers around and even if he wanted an Hispanic, W could have, in fact I could have picked a better person in my sleep for the job than Gonzales????

That is an excellent resume for Diane Sykes. Private practice, state courts, now federal court, 48 years old.

Ted's somewhat old, but he is very deserving and the 'Rats would probably go along because he is older.

yes...47/48 years old - meaning she has 12/13 years more that she could serve on the bench than the last nominee.

He is conservative, he is extremely thoughtful and well
spoken. I would love it if he was nominated. Maybe he was already asked and didn't want it. Wasn't it said that more than a few were asked and turned it down? Or was that more media spin. Anyway, I think Olson would be an excellent choice.

I note that Alito was confirmed by a Dem senate.

Is there anything in his opinions in teh 15 years on the court which would cause a filibuster?

When will most Republican activists realize that Bush is NOT a conservative?

We got the idea. I gotta believe though, that he is more conservative than that "certain haughty french-looking junior senator from Mass, who, by the way, served in Viet Nam and Cambodia". (sorry WSJ...couldn't resist)

she's had experience at every level - private practice, local, state, federal. Young enough to serve on the court for 30 years.

She has been vetted- at what level (short list, long list) I don't know - but some vetting for the supreme court has taken place.
