BERLIN: Iran is providing refuge to around 25 leading members of the Al Qaeda terror group including three of Osama Bin Ladens sons, a German magazine reported on Wednesday.
Cicero magazine said Saad, Mohammed and Othman Bin Laden as well as other Al Qaeda members from Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Uzbekistan, north Africa and Europe were living in and around Tehran under the protection of Irans Republican Guard.
The magazine quoted a top-ranking Western secret service agent as saying the Al Qaeda members were free to move around. They are not under arrest or house arrest, the unnamed source told the respected monthly Cicero. They can do what they like.
Saad Bin Laden, who is around 25, is thought to have played a key financial and logistical role in several Al Qaeda attacks and is on a US most-wanted list. Osama Bin Laden is believed to have more than 20 sons by several wives. Irans new President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad on Wednesday called for Israel to be wiped off the map. It was the first time in years that such a high-ranking Iranian official has called for the Jewish states eradication, even though such slogans are still regularly used at regime rallies.
this is becoming very interesting
Not Iran. I am shocked that they would hinder our directives in Iraq..
This is one of several places that I have read in the past couple of years that Iran is harboring these people. In fact, I have read that Osama bin Laden and Ayman Zawahiri are there also. I have wondered if we know they are there, but are hesitant to admit it, as then we might be expected to do something about it.
Damn I have soo much resentment for all those who protected the mollas for so long. All those years when Iranian democrats were pleading for support, and the regime was still in a weak position and vulnerable, everyone was making money off of this regime and didn't want to listen or believe what it was up to. Now that it has become strong and impervious, the Germans and British and others are spilling their guts about what they have always known about this regime. Nothing good is ever going to come out of any of it. Damn them all to hell.
QUESTION: There are some reports citing U.S. intelligence that this Al Quds Force, or also called the Jerusalem Force, is part of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, may be the ones sheltering these al-Qaida members, including one of Usama bin Laden's sons. Is there -- what is the U.S. trying to do to secure, through the Iranians, access to these people? Can you say anything about this Jerusalem Force?
MR. BOUCHER: No. As far as what we're doing, I think we've made very consistently clear, especially since the May 12th bombing in Saudi Arabia, that the continued presence in Iran of senior officials of terrorist organizations, including al-Qaida, was a significant cause of concern for us as well as for other people in the region, and that they should cooperate with countries that are conducting investigations of al-Qaida's activities, including the May 12th bombing.
QUESTION: Do you believe that Usama bin Laden's son is one the al-Qaida leaders that --
MR. BOUCHER: I wouldn't be able to comment on that. Sorry.
Teri.

Cicero is a bit like the Atlantic Monthly or The New Yorker. It's only been around for about a year.
Is there any question that Iran is the epicenter for Islamofascism and must be dealt with sooner rather than later, regardless of world opinion by those who have their own selfish agendas to bring down this nation?
Of course they can have weekend "wives", which is their ridiculous religion's way of legitimizing affairs and prostitution.
BND and CIA.

"Actually this is old information..."
Yeah. It seems to resurface once or twice a year
They are stronger than they were, but not impervious.
