BRIEF SUMMARY:
1. Ed Rendell, Chairman of the DNC, invited Peter Paul to attend an Algore fundraiser of Los Angeles attorneys
2. At the event, Rendell told him that he could sponsor such an event for Algore if he gave 150K
3. Paul agrees to give 150K in stock that can be cashed out in September; the FEC requires that an immediate memorandum for that pledge be filed. No such memorandum was filed. That is probably not signicant because they ultimately never received the cash from the stock pledge.
4. Peter Paul puts on the fundraiser for Algore at the Beverly Hills Hotel and spends $30K. Olivia Newton John sings "I Honestly Love You." Jon Lovett and Morgan Fairchild attend. Former Warner Bros prez Mark Canton is there.
5. As is typical with Democrats and money, Ed Rendell does not declare the $30K that Paul spent on the event. He has not declared it to this day.
6. The final filing date was Dec. 31, 2000 to declare the money. Since the statute of limitations is five years, charges need to be brought against Rendell within a few months or he will skate.
7. The following contact info for the U.S. Attorneys in the three Pennsylvania districts are given below. I have called twice to the Eastern District and left two messagtes for Mark Schwartz in the Official Corruption, Fraud, and Civil Rights Division -- 215.861.8923. He apparently doesn't want to speak with me.
If any of you would like to make your own phone calls to a U.S. Attorney, maybe he will return your call. They don't seem to like me very much. Maybe some journalists in Pennsylvania might be interested. Thanks for the help.

go get the SOB, and all his horses too
Why would anybody run up their phone bill? Don't you know he's a Democrat and exempt from the laws that apply to the peons and to elected Republicans? No one appointed by the Bush administration is going to prosecute or even say anything bad about any Democrat who has done something illegal. Where have you been for the last 5 yrs?
I have an idea. Sit them and don't do anything. That always works.
E-mails to the Department of Justice, including the Attorney General, may be sent to :
AskDOJ@usdoj.gov.
Check this out.
Forget Marino. He was indicted yesterday for corruption.
Never mind. Different Marino. My bad.
fast eddie ping
bttt
Sorry, but it looks to me like nothing works. Name me one Democrat who has gotten worse than a slap on the wrist in the past 5 yrs. and I'll start doing all that futile dialing I used to do. I never got any of my calls returned either when I used to do that.
Yup, the Democratic system is working in PA, for the Dems.
Thanks for the info. But I don't see anything this (me) little pee-on can do.
99.9% of the world have not heard of this before. How on earth do you know this?
"Further investigation by the Justice Department and the Senate Ethics Committee is required to determine the full extent to which Hillary's campaign and DNC leaders may have misled federal investigators and obstructed justice"
Say no more, the damn Bush Administration will do nothing with this.
Thanks for the ping.
The reporter is afraid? Would Rendell have his credentials yanked?
$1.6 million ?
$2 million ?
I hope you have your act together on how much in the movie.
It looks like Rendell is gonna skate on the measly $30 thousand. Such a shame.
Rendell is such a scumb. It starts with ruining the Philadelphia School system to the Don and Terri Adams case.
Now they are diverting money through the new PA State Casinos to Demos to support them in the future. It is being done indirectly and legally. It is a real mess here.
Peter did not know until recently that Rendell never declared the money. It looks as if we have an attorney general who doesn't want to indict DemocRATS. Just our side will get hammered. We control the government, and look is what is happening to the party in charge. Just amazing.
The attorney general has seen Peter's documents implicating Hillary. They are apparently afraid to pull the trigger. I don't understand it.
