Boy that sure does make a lot of sense. Especially since it's libs who just can't get over something, and I can DEFINITELY see some libs doing this because they never got over algore for several years. I think this is the most logical realistic idea of what happened.
Did he ever state that plainly somewhere? I've been tagged by a liberal friend over that claim, and I could not find anywhere it was in print.
Was it just inferred from statements he made? I found where he said the VP's office requested the CIA to investigate, but not a claim to send him particularly.

Somehow he equates getting tough by the President with withdrawing Miers, appointing Janice Rogers Browne and so forth. Really, an adolescent temper tantrum.
What he hates about Miers is probably she is not an inside player in what Limbaugh believes to be inside circles. Perhaps even her faith troubles him. In any case it is something. Periodically, you can see him struggle to a neutral position, but eventually his emotions get the best of him.
What many are missing is Miers does not seek out the limelight. She has no big, dominant ego that craves the limelight and she leads by service and consistency. Most would describe her as a humble person. Not humble in the sense of denying her real abilities and accomplishments but humble in the sense she is not a gregarious, back slapping good old girl and does not try to become one.
Just the kind of person Rush would need as a helpmate, but he would never consider since he cannot really appreciate and respect anyone who does have the "flash" he desires. No doubt, part of the reason he has had three marriages and three divorces lies in his relative inability to see women as persons. This could also spill over into his judgment of Miers.
The woman calling Rush in respect to Miers had him pegged and he had to overwhelm rather than answer her queries.

If any part of that premise is true... The POTUS and his administration has been "dead meat" all the way along and it's no wonder the MSM is so convinced there'll be hemoraging from Republican's eyes, ears, noses and throats... simultaneously!!!
