Today President Bush addressed the Joint Armed Forces Officers' Wives' Luncheon at Bolling Air Force Base in Washington D.C., voicing his administration's support of the troops, and his commitment to the War on Terror and specifically the mission in Iraq. He later met with the President of the Iraqi Regional Government of Kurdistan, Masoud Barzani, in the Oval Office of the White House. I highly recommend reading President Barzani's comments about our courageous President.

Hi all!....I'm baaaaaaaacccccccck!!....well, at least for a little while propped up in my recliner.....Mike has taken the week off to take care of me, which I deeply appreciate, since I had no idea how much this has taken out of me.....I'm doing fine...I'm really sore since my doc performed two extra procedures during surgery....and what they say is true...the older you get, the longer the recovery.....I'm not allowed to do anything for two weeks and then I have to take it very easy fo another 4......I'm already going stir crazy, LOL.........I want to thank you all for your thoughts and prayers....this has been an experience I won't soon forget...

Wonderful words - thanks for the dose tonight Ohio, I hear the President is visiting Florida on Thursday, sounds pretty bad down there.
You do seem to get the "good" bits I seem to get the serious or controvorsial bits eg Miers and Roberts nominations and now the Florida visit though there maybe some nice pictures of him comforting people.
Hi Ohio, Great pictures and a wonderful speech by our W to the military spouses - of which my daughter is now one.
The wedding was beautiful - my girl was radiant - even through the rain.
I've been out of the loop for a while, just catching bits and pieces, but I can't help but see all the Harriet Miers hysteria. Yikes, is she a mass murderer that our W nominated?
