I have SBC DSL and have for a long time....if I run onto something that takes that long to get to the point...I won't spend the time....I am sure the American hating left loves it, but IMHO, the bounce they are going to get by Freepers tonite will be the largest that they will see.

I believe Rush...he says that good people are sick and tired of being told that their country stinks....run by a bunch of lying thug killers, and that they...the communist left, knows how to "repair the damage" when they screwed it up in the first place.

It really makes me sad that none of you can see the hypocricy and blindness with which you make claims that the makers of this video hate America and are on the side of the terrorists. These claims disturb me because I happen to love America and do not think that we are a horrible country. I don't agree with what the president and his white house have done and continue to do, I don't agree that the war in Iraq had anything to do with 9/11 and I think that those who made this video feel the same way. IF these people hated America why would they go to this trouble? To cast them off as crazy and sick is too easy. You would like to believe that because that would allow you to rest in the mindset that you are right, and America is right and that we, as the superpower, have the right to do what we want because we have the biggest guns. Am I glad Hussain is out of power and on trial? Yes, but there are tons of villainous dictators out there who support terrorism, rule with cruel oppression, and are anti-American, but we go after the one that, a) tried to kill Bush's dad and b) has lots of oil. Just like I urge my liberal brothers and sisters to maintain honest debate without name-calling and slander, I must ask you, on the other side to stop calling liberals "America-haters." We are Americans, just like you are. We cried on 9/11, just like you do. And now, as evidenced in that video, we mourn the deaths of 2000 soldiers that, despite their best intentions, we believe are being sent into an unjust, unecessary war. And as for the Democrats who supported the war, if you look around, they get heat from the left, just not as intense as the President, for obvious reasons. One thing that liberals do that could possibly change the outlook of some conservatives if they were to do this: Imagine that you are one of those people raised in an Islamic nation instead of someone in a largely Christian nation. If you can put yourself in another's shoes I think it would be a lot more difficult for you to just dismiss them all as "Islomoscum" as one poster called them. They aren't any different than you or me. Some of them are deluted, some of them are more rational. Some of them are extreme and fundementalists, some are more secular. They fight for what they believe in, just like we do. What needs to be conveyed however is that the fighting isn't necessary. We need to stop thinking that they hate us because of what we have here. They hate us because of what we've brought there. Of course they handle it the wrong way, but how much better are we that we respond in the same way. With violence.
