---- If MO forbids the use of tax dollars, why was it done? I don't understand what the law is for.

Please God...recieve this innocent with open arms.... Amen

Poor baby....it's not your fault...

This child had no chance to live, and the one who should be the absolute protector here on earth failed to deliver that chance.

The sadness is great.

We have done everything possible to restrict (read eliminate) abortions in Missouri. This abortion was denied by the state corrections because a state vehicle would have been using state funds to transport her. State law says NO state money can be used to facilitate abortions. We do have a success story however:

One of only 3 abortion clinics in the state shut down yesterday (Springfield). No plans to re-open it. They even dropped a law suite that challenged a NEW Missouri law that says an abortionist (read murder), must have hospital privileges within 30 miles of the abortion clinic. No hospital within 30 miles of Springfield would grant such a privilege to this murder.

Your tax dollars, . . .

Let's be honest about it. It is a significant savings for the taxpayer, if you want to leave morality out, and just look at the economics.

Not the way I see it. Mother does not want child. Mother gives child up for adoption to loving family. Loving family nutures and raises child. Loving family pays taxes and raises child to be a productive (read, tax-paying) member of society.

Really? If that child had been adopted by a solid, loving family, how much would he or she have paid out in taxes over his or her lifetime?

The original people who advocated "leaving morality out" and "just looking at the economics" were Marx, Engels, and Lenin, BTW.

This is delving into murky waters, but the baby may have another chance. I won't elaborate too much because it would really go beyond the subject.

I can see what you mean with the birth and all, but I would rather have my tax dollars go to support that (and have the baby cared for by a caring mother and father) than an abortion.
