That's what happens when developmentally arrested post-adolescents mix it up with an adult.
I'm sure he just did not want to be mistaken for a Democrat....
Maybe even use it in a campaign flyer for the next election. LOL
What I find incredibly ironic about some Republicans is that they, more than anyone, are well aware of the dangers when you try to appease an opponent. Heck, they've been out front arguing this point since 9/11. Yet, here they are, still trying to embrace a "new tone" while their political enemies are willing to destroy their lives. And I'm not just talking about political lives, since these Democrats would like nothing better than to lock them up and throw away the key.
Democrats are targeting the Republican leadership for destruction...and what have Republicans been doing; taking the Kennedy's out for movies and popcorn; arguing leniency for a convicted Sandy Bergler and even helping in the rehabilitation of Bill Clinton. Republicans need to get their heads of their cans and realize that, just like the enemy abroad, these people don't want to be friends. If I don't start seeing some retribution for these attacks, I'm going to start wondering what was in those FBI files.

If they can show pictures of teddie, the drunk, without a shirt and in cut-offs why not this much more pleasing picture?

I think a lot of Republicans are RINOs and the others aren't interested in a scrap. They would rather attack conservatives than battle Democrats on the floors of Congress.
They are also totally intimidated by the leftist press in this country.
I think the Repubs in Congress should invent a NEW tax. A tax on advertisements in newspapers. Make the tax SO heavy that the newspapers loose advertising and the New York Slimes, the Washington Compost, the Gannett Gang, etc, go out of business.
They neeed to be more inventive and a lot more pugnacious.
