NYT FRIDAY: Rove and Libby have been advised that they may be in serious legal jeopardy, but only this week has Fitzgerald begun to narrow the possible charges. The prosecutor has said he will not make up his mind about any charges until next week, government officials say... Developing...
You'd think that after hearing it so many times they'd get the message. But they think they can abuse us forever. Time to try another approach than the endless acceptance of fault.
When the Party says, "You can have our Party and our President, or you can have your Constitution..." I will choose the Constitution. We did not give the GOP license to ratify the socialists' radicalization of the judiciary. They had no mandate to chicken out consistently in front of 44 Democrats. No platform bade them outspend the Democrats' wildest fantasies.
Hey, I'm not questioning your "right wingness", just pointing out your "Johnny-come-latelyness". I look at a Reagan Democrat as someone who should have known better in the first place but for some reason didn't.
Perhaps you could enlighten me and point out just one Democratic principle-either present day or from Jimmy Carter's era--that's compatable with any Reagan principle. Frankly I'm at a loss to think of one...but then I don't really look at Democrats as principled anyway. You were one so help me out.
So exactly what do you think is the attraction to the left for the repubs? What issues?
We got the message loud and clear; you can be "had," "bought," whatever you want to call it, for the right price.
You have to love the phrase "Neuticles gift registry", admit it. =)
Long time no see... how's it going?
Remember. The American people supported Clinton with 60% approval ratings throughout impeachment. That was after 14 people had been convicted and jailed in investigations. How many of you noticed that President Bush said the same thing today that Clinton always said, "I have to get back to my job working for the American people."
That buys a lot of power.
Thank you.
I will come back and read this in the morning.
Right now, I am, way too upset about F16Fighter.
Need to pray for him, and pray with all our hearts.
Amen!
Let me help you out.
When I first registered to vote I lived in a one party county so I registered Democrat to vote in the primaries, as they were the only game in town and I wanted to vote against some local crooks in the only place you could take them out, in the priamries.
As soon as I moved out of that town, 1998, I switched registrations. And like I said I never voted for any presidential candidate other than the Republican. Although I almost voted Libertarian in 1996. In the voting both I quickly changed my mind and voted for Dole.
You're right on ... this wired age has turned people in adrenaline junkies. We're programmed to search, download, print NOW ..dial the cellphone and get an answer NOW .. everything's speeded up to a degree of such high intolerance and impatience. I'm SO glad I'm not driving anymore .. I'd have to be on prescription meds. I'm happy to be in a cab or on a bus and let someone else drive... people are crazy out there.
geez.
CIA Leak Queries
Look at Disclosure
Of Classified Data

WASHINGTON -- The range of questions that Special Prosecutor Patrick Fitzgerald has asked witnesses in the CIA leak case suggests he may be exploring whether to charge White House officials with leaking garden-variety classified information.
Mr. Fitzgerald's initial mission was to see if the leaking of Valerie Plame's name violated a 1982 act that bars the intentional disclosure of an undercover intelligence operative's identity.

Yesterday, one former administration official said Karl Rove, the deputy White House chief of staff, had discussed former diplomat Joseph Wilson and the role of his wife, Ms. Plame, with White House staffers in 2003. That buttresses the possibility that Mr. Fitzgerald is investigating charges related to leaking classified information.
The former official said Mr. Rove had these discussions after Mr. Wilson went public with claims that the Bush administration had twisted intelligence to build support for the Iraq war. Mr. Rove discussed discrediting Mr. Wilson, the former official said, adding that Mr. Rove didn't necessarily name Ms. Plame or make her a key talking point in conversations with other White House officials. Prosecutors have been told of these internal discussions.
Robert Luskin, an attorney for Mr. Rove, said, "The allegation is maliciously false."

Fat chance. Pragmatism is like kryptonite to them.
It's mostly about excuses for spending. Socialists come up with more ideas to spend more money than do conservatives. It covers a wide range of issues: federalism, tax policy, the various entitlements (SS/Medicare especially), coddling the criminal UN - I mean, how is it that Kofi Annan still has his job and the US is still effectively paying his salary? - or sucking up to Arab terrorists and environmental interests, each in his turn.
This President really could have been an amazing leader, but he chose instead to be a mere administrator. But we don't need someone to manage a decline, we need a renewal of strength.
Can't argue with you there..
Yeah, that's kind of the basic premise upon which our electoral system operates. The intelligence of the average voter might also explain why Republicans currently control all three branches of government
Please tell me.
That's exactly what I'm talking about. We say one thing and that mental illness of yours turns it into the exact opposite. No party is going to keep any allies with that attitude.
But I'm just a extreme far right winger, now, like that crazy Rush Limbaugh, so what do I know?
Agree with you there. I just don't know if I see it.
