You're right on ... this wired age has turned people in adrenaline junkies. We're programmed to search, download, print NOW ..dial the cellphone and get an answer NOW .. everything's speeded up to a degree of such high intolerance and impatience. I'm SO glad I'm not driving anymore .. I'd have to be on prescription meds. I'm happy to be in a cab or on a bus and let someone else drive... people are crazy out there.

I live in Wisconsin, everyone who's not from here think it's the backwoods. Only, we live about 45 minutes from 1.5 million people. It's not fun. Some day, I'm going to move to a slow paced place, like northern Wisconsin where an hour is an hour, where there is limited cell phone connections, and 3 tv channels are normal. People are missing out on life. They want the material things, the political things, now. Most don't realize, only 100 years ago, things were way different. Electricity, cars, telephones, were just starting to become popular, telephones were unheard of. Then, words meant something, actions had consequences, and people had manners.

I picture them standing in front of a microwave screaming "Hurry up!"
