Let me help you out.
When I first registered to vote I lived in a one party county so I registered Democrat to vote in the primaries, as they were the only game in town and I wanted to vote against some local crooks in the only place you could take them out, in the priamries.
As soon as I moved out of that town, 1998, I switched registrations. And like I said I never voted for any presidential candidate other than the Republican. Although I almost voted Libertarian in 1996. In the voting both I quickly changed my mind and voted for Dole.
So...you call yourself a Reagan Democrat because of that? You're saying you never really were a Democrat? Hmmmm...with all due respect that sounds rather convoluted but, hey...it's your autobiography.
