NYT FRIDAY: Rove and Libby have been advised that they may be in serious legal jeopardy, but only this week has Fitzgerald begun to narrow the possible charges. The prosecutor has said he will not make up his mind about any charges until next week, government officials say... Developing...
I think it is very likely.
I'm sure you could never take my whining about how you voluntarily gave the keys to the tank to the enemy while I was digging it.
yes she did, no doubt about the forged documents. I didn't catch it all, those two talking over each other was painful to hear
Lawrence O'Donnell is a nobody, and I mean a NOBODY, he has absolutely no credibility and I'm surprised his doctors over at "Chestnut Lodge" allowed him to speak about politics to begin with, eh could be seriously at risk of blowing another gasket like he did on the Joe Scarborough Show
I have the whole segment saved on my Hard Drive :-)
Yeah, I was planning on voting for President Bush in 08. Since he was 'selected' not 'elected' in 2000 he should be able to run again. (The reason I know that is because I read DU.) President an be 'elected' for 2 terms, ya know. *smirk*///>
Sucker Carlson is a Pro Dope Libertarian
I believe he can pardon at any time, but most likely he would wait until his term was up.
Great analysis.
Good point, if Libby or Rove are indicted I would call Plame and Miller and check and see which media people Plame had contacts with and which CIA people Miller knew. Of course the media won't pay any attention to this testimony!!
Once they testify I would investigate or if I already know the answer that they had I would refer them for perjury if they deny it.
To the New York Times, Matthews, Time Magazine, Washington Post, ABC,NBC,CBS,CNN, and all of the rest ROVE IS BUSH! That is how they will record all of this event. If this is true, no matter how distasteful it might seem, they will try to morph this into Watergate II. We all know it is not, but it will not be because they now have a causa belli to make the case. This is very, very bad news. No sense in pretending it is not.
It doesn't make sense.
Why the heck not? What changes?
I'll give you dope for sure, but I think the only thing Tucker believes in is the same thing all the talking faces in Washington believe in. Their own self-rightous opinion.
I usually try NOT to watch him. I just have been too lazy to change the channel tonight.
I don't know about early leaking, but certainly John Solomon's AP article yesterday was mostly comprised of pro-Rove information.
This NYTimes article is puzzling. It starts out by saying Rove and Libby may be targets, but also says Fitzpatrick hasn't made up his mind about bringing charges. On second read, the article is less certain than first glance leads you to think
No. I couldn't take the bitching and bellyaching about taking your marbles and going home if the commander didn't run the war in the way YOU wanted him to.
Sucker Carlson surely screwed the pooch with that statement
Has laurence o'donnell(writer for the tv show "the west wing") ever made sense?
It's called winning the battle and losing the war.
