From down here in the swamp it appears that half of congress and a few of the press have known that Wilson's wife was in the CIA. This is another witch hunt.

It did seem widely known...but the point I was making was that it also seems likely that she didn't learn it from anyone other than Plame herself. Plame worked in the WMD specialist section of the CIA, isn't that correct? And Miller was doing research on Germ warfare at the CIA...which would be the WMD section...the same section that Plame worked in. I have no knowledge that they met, but they seem to have been in the same proximity and perhaps in direct contact. It's just something worth considering.

Lawrence O'Donnell is getting his information from Joe Wilson & lawyers for MSM. I wouldn't believe him even if he talked to Fitzgerald himself.

To date he has refused to fight back on the same terms as the left, probably because it is not his nature and is offensive to him. Also, from the Times article, the line that Rove and Libby's lawyers "declined to comment on their legal status" leads me to think that both have probably received "Target Letters."

I think that's NYT speak for "we didn't personally interview either one of them, and insofar as they haven't called us to discuss their legal status, we can only assume it's because they have declined to comment about it"
