What makes you think you won't get a nominee you'll hate even worse the next time? We'll blow up that bridge when we come to it.

How many long time FReepers agree with me, as opposed to those who agree with you?Noobs jumping on a bandwagon are nothing new around here.
Most end up going back to DU when the bandwagon leaves town.

The bettors don't care about the Constitution, here or in North Korea. They do care about their hard earned dollars (or pesos in case of the North Koreans,) which is why they can be relied on more than the Constittion twisting politicians and robed shysters. And to fools, who rush in, everything under the sun is a "Constitutional question", which is how we got stuck with the ACLU and other vermin in the first place!

Oh of course, since I'm opposed to Miers, logic states I am a DU'er.
I guess since I'm opposed to CFR, new pill entitlements, open borders, huge deficits, new federal education spending, etc, that must mean I belong to Daily Kos as well.

She'll be out within a week. Bad sign that GW was out propping her up publicly. His next pick will be a male. Stick it to 'em GW, go as far right as you can.

There are a lot of non members playing with the Freeper poll about this also. There is only a 3% gap between members who say yea or nay with close to 21% who say they need more info but the nons have a 6% gap.
Hmmmm....guess which numbers people have been posting up front?

We also have a House that passes a "pretty lean budget" that is an "ongoing victory".
Wait a second.

It's still a lot higher than GWB was on 11/02/04 about 1700 EST.
To: Plutarch
Well they've cancelled the meetings with Senators.
Not a good sign for H. Miers.

You know, we could keep posting cute one liners all night . . . but the joke will still remain on us.

Considering the "No's" are about 40%, compared to about 35% for "yes", you'd better get busy.
