Republican pol is booked on conspiracy, money laundering charges
OCTOBER 20--Here's the Tom DeLay mug shot snapped this afternoon when the deposed House majority leader appeared at a Harris County, Texas sheriff's office to be booked on conspiracy and money laundering charges. The Republican pol, 58, was forced to submit to a brief photo and fingerprint session after a District Judge yesterday issued an arrest warrant for him. DeLay's mug shot was taken at the sheriff's office in Richmond. The congressman is scheduled for his initial court appearance tomorrow in Travis County District Court. (2 pages)

Tom should have had the photographer from Esquire Magazine (Clinton parting shot) do a 'personalized' picture just for Ronnie Boy.

Congratulations are in order. He got through it without giving a millimeter. He looks great and thus gives his enemies no advantage.
But conservatives really need to grow some and make people like Earle think twice about messing with them. It's he who should be worrying here, he who should be posing for his mugshot, too.

Yeah, he's pretty much the only high-profile criminal defense lawyer that is any good in Texas.
He is big enough he rejects people he wants to get nailed.
Takes a lot of freebie cases he thinks deserve justice.
Prosecutors are both scared of him and consider him very ethical (a rare combo).
Great picture of Tom! The gloating msm were camped around the Ft. Bend Co. courthouse waiting for their "perp walk" party, when Tom and DeGuerin crossed them up by going to Harris Co. and reporting there instead. The only network covering it there was FOX and they had this fine smiling portrait first in a still shot of DeGuerin proudly displaying it. No wonder the msm HATES FOX and Delay! Gotta love it!
He looks like one of the Hardy boys in that pic. Its ripe for photoshopping though, so brace yourself...!

I'm put in mind of Reagan, who disliked still cameras because a shot taken at the wrong instant can make anyone look like an idiot. Delay dodged a bullet.
The police know who the real lawbreaker is in this situation.

This is actually hilarious. he totally neutralized the photo. The msm is deeply saddened.

I caught a blip on one of the stations of Ronnie Earl running out to show the picture to reporters... bet he was disappointed they didn't hang numbers on him and dress in a striped suit.
What really peaves me is that this is getting so much attention at this stage of the game, but when he's cleared of any wrongdoing, it'll barely get a blurb. The libs have already succeeded in tarnishing his reputation.
