I am a vehement opponent of the homosexual agenda, but this kind of behavior is just disgusting.

Moreover, a fallen soldier deserves respect, not this asinine circus.

Hard as it is, sometimes the best thing is to let loathsome persons have the spotlight. Their views are coming from an obvious place of hate, and that is obvious. Compassion in response, rather than reciprocated hatred is what "cures" this sort of thing...

I think its an appalling lack of respect to the dead. A dead person's sins are between them and God. No one has any business judging a person's private life - whatever their sins are as long as it remains private.

The protesters were part of the anti-gay homosexuals organization, the Westboro Baptist Church (WBC), which believes God is punishing America for supporting homosexuality

Apparently this church skipped the part about he who is without sin may cast the first stone.

Picketing funerals is now on their agenda, after all, Americans attend and "picket" these funerals with American flags, why not the anti-gay, anti-war Westboro folks. They're disgusting.
