Rep. Kirt Weldon is on Michael Savage's radio program, and he is implying Rumsfeld is the one blocking further investigation into Able Danger.
Weldon is fuming; says he personally (in a committee hearing) asked Rumsfeld about the investigation being blocked. Rumsfeld replied that he would 'get back to Weldon with a response.' Weldon says he still has gotten nothing from Rumsfeld.
Weldon to give a speech in a few moments this evening on the floor of the House. It should be aired on CSPAN this evening.

Sean Hannity said on his show last week that he was warning his listeners NOT to waste their money on Louis Freeh's book...but then said he wouldn't go into WHY at that time..
That is the last I have heard him mention Freeh.
Are you going to have audio file of the Savage/Weldon interview?

It would make sense though.
It's a big government. Bush only has the power to apppint about 6,000 and most of these are no known to him. There is a permanent government in Washington, Even a President for Life could not outlast it.

Even if there isn't a tie to Bush...it is a tie to the Defense Dept while Bush is POTUS...so, she is probably doing the right thing for the WRONG reason...LOL

He has propped him up by appointing him to work with his dad raising money for disasters.
Clinton was needed to help raise money for those in need and that lost everything .. for that I don't blame the President .. he was thinking of others besides himself

A simple phone call would have sufficed. Weldon apparently got no response, otherwise he wouldn't be all over CSPAN and Savage screaming for blood.
That theory makes no sense in light of tonight's events.
Which is why I'm surprised there hasn't been a live thread on the Saddam Trial.
Because if OKC did have Iraqis involved, then it was financed by Saddam.
And if Rummy and company wanted this info to come out in the trial first....
It would involve Able Danger info.
Better to mail letter or postcard, even better if hand written.

Good grief! Why are they exposing that info. If they know some stuff exists then they should just get it and stash it away someplace safe.
