My guess is the witnesses were giving false information. Good for them. If it was me, and I was somehow not involved in the attitude adjustment, I would have said they all arrived in an alien spaceship and described a group of grays.

Why oh Why is this creep out on the street in the first place. Why is it that they wait for these creeps to actually kill a child before they put him away for life??? If a child is killed by someone allowed back out on the street after this type of behavior, then the judge who released him should be put in jail along with him.
