Please forgive me for essentially plagiarizing an existing title (no I don't work for the NYT), but it's very important to me and what better way to get the attention.
Please keep little Connor in your thoughts and prayers. He is the son of a very good friend of mine since college. Due to a medical condition in his mother, he was delivered at 27 weeks. When born he weighed in a 2lbs. 3oz. and is now hovering around 1lb. 14 oz.
His lung development so far has exceeded expectations and he did cry upon "removal" but, needless to say, he will remain in NICU for the foreseeable future. He is being fed via the vein in his umbilical cord. He is doing as well as can be expected, so far so good. However there are many hurdles still to come. Mom is doing better and is recovering from the C-section.
Please send all of the good vibes and prayers you can to little Connor and his parents. They can use all of the help they can get.
Please forgive me for the title, but would you both do me the favor of getting the word out about my little buddy. You obviously have the experience and the connections! Thank you! -Lone
Meek, long time no "speak". Would you do me the favor of one of your Meek PINGs? Thanks in advance!

My prayers for this wee tiny one!

Will pray for the little one and his family.
Prayers sent. My firstborn was delivered at 27 weeks at 2 lbs 4 oz, and is now an advanced 2 1/2 year old who already knows all his ABC's and can count to thirty...so tell them there is plenty of hope for everything to work out great.
My now 7 year old son was a 23-24 weeker and was 15.5 ozs at birth. He's doing great in 1st grade with minimal issues from his prematurity. God can do amazing things!
Prayers are up for the wee one...
prayers for Connor and his family
Hope the mom is okay!
Prayers for little Connor for sure. Like others who have- mailed my little girl was very premature and lightweight. Now a teenager and lovely.
In our thoughts and prayers. Please let the parents know they are not alone. My wife and I have been in the same situation. My 11yr old son (honor roll and star hockey player) was born at 28 wks via emergency c-section 2 lbs 8 ozs. Stayed in the NICU until his due date about 3mos.
From the mom of a preemie - prayers sent.
