Blanco admitted fault to CNN when she thought she was off camera. She wasn't specific in her request for assistance.
Impeach her.
BUT, the question is?, WILL the mediaWHORES report this...NAY, won't happen! If it weren't for FR I would not have known about this little inconvenience Blanco snafu!! To this day I still stand in my opinion that W should have NEVER taken the rap for Katrina...DANG IT, NEVER!!

They, meaning the MSM, the dems and Governor Blanco had President Bush between a rock and hard place. If he acted (saved the people) with out Governor Blanco's consent then the dems would impeach him. The longer they managed to hold him off, the worse the media portrayed him, and also, people died!
I believe he had to make concessions to the dems and Governor Blanco before they would allow him in to her state to save the people. Taking the heat, I believe was one of those concessions.
I've also been thinking, or wondering if maybe another concession was that he "not" pick certain people for the supreme court. The fact that the dems have been soooooo quiet about his Miers choice makes me wander why? What's up with that?
So I've been wondering if maybe he selected Miers as a slap right back in the dems faces. Kinda like, "Ok, you said I couldn't have my first choice? Well here, stick that in your pipe and smoke it!"
If she gets in, the dems screwed themselves. If she is turned down and the President gets to chose again, well, what could the dems do now? Can't go public at this point and say; "He promised!"
A man of his word, keeps his word. But only once. After that it's a clean slate. And he can chose who ever he wants.
But that's just me wearing my tin foil hat.

Many people who I have chatted with about the NO demise are furious that Bush didn't storm in with the troops before state approval and blame HIM for the delay in assistance.
Sadly enough the media still has potent influence with the "uninformed" masses.
It was Dick Cheney disguised as Karl Rove who was disguised as George Bush finding a way to cover the fact that the delay was created because no one was available at Haliburton to sign the no bid business contract to get the ball rolling. /s
