PARISAnna Wintour, editor in chief of Vogue magazine, was hit with a tofu pie by anti-fur demonstrators as she attended Paris fashion week.
Dan Mathews, vice president of People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, said the vegetarian tofu tart was retaliation for Vogues decision to run fur ads while refusing to use PETAs anti-fur messages.

Wintour has been repeatedly hounded by PETA and several animal rights groups for her blatant promotion of fur in her magazine.
I am not sure who I dislike the most.
Fruitcakes.
I'm not sure why PETA hasn't been prosecuted under RICO.
I would frankly tell them that tofu has poor bioavailability and raises estrogen and highly recommend that they throw meatpies next time. ;)
I always liked sitting down with the biggest piece of meat that I could find and hanging around a bunch of vegetarian protestors or people sitting at tables handing out pamphlets. There's something about vegetarians that makes me want to prod them. I mean, there has to be something wrong with not wanting to eat meat. It just tastes too good.
"Don't just stand there, let's get to it,
"Strike a pose, there's nothing to it,
"Meringue..."
If they would like to try such a thing, the throwing stuff at large Texans I am available. No charge.

"Do what we want, or we will use violence against you."
Very few people stay vegs for the long -term. We were born to eat meat.
All the vegetarians that I know are fat. Why is that anyway??
Interesting. I guess PETA thinks its ok to attack someone in the street if they don't agree with their business decisions. The attorney general tends to frown upon this sort of activity. Ask the Gotti family.
If PETA wanted to do something constructive they could back a firm that makes good quality faux furs.
I don't ever think I've seen a skinny buddha, come to think of it.
Tough call. "The Devil Wears Prada" girl needs something thrown at her, but PETA, well. Tough choice.
Just try that pie-in-the-face crap with these ladies (yummmmm).
I prefer the line from "We Were Soldiers", that goes :" Let's go do what we came here to do".............FRegards
I'll take the Incredibles' clothing designer over Anna Wintour any day of the week, darling.
