Do you want to be the brave one who dismisses something that later kills or injures others? I'd rather be safe than sorry

ABsolutely - I think folks in the military can eat anything in record time.......... does your husband use the term "Eating Duck" - "Duck in and Duck out".......lol
My Mom cooked when I was younger, but when my Dad died I was 15 and the meals pretty much stopped - no one wanted to be home

when some Lutheran crashed a Methodist potluck and brought carrot-raisin salad. "Bet that went over like a Satan burger with a side of Hell fries..."

Along toward the end of my 4 years (1973-1977) the USMC mess halls were starting to try and serve "ETHNIC" foods, like tacos, etc. One day they had "soul food" day. There were black eyed peas, turnip greens, fried chicken and many other "Southern" foods. I was in "hog heaven" finally. A Yankee friend of mine was with me and was ecstatic to find "Hot Buttered Noodles" in the chow line and ordered the server to give him DOUBLE HELPING!.................A few minutes later he was introduced to the wonderful world of CHITLINS!.................

>plastic bottles with compressed water
Every high school physics student knows water is incompressible.
To: UCANSEE2
My thought exactly - how do you compress water?
(Dehydrate it?)

"Eating Duck" - "Duck in and Duck out".......lolNot that I remember. He would just eat his chili and smile. Personally, I can't prove it, and we don't talk about my early cooking years, but I think he over ate on the base at lunchtime because he knew what he was getting for supper. But, he never complained...not once.

"News the device appeared to be some water bottle with fireworks attached to them.LOL, must have been a dud. Probably got collected with the other litter lying about.
" More details as they become available.
Details like how much duct tape was used?
To: talleyman
The explosives were made up of chemicals placed inside water bottles" Not compressed water in bottles.

About 100 students were evacuated from the Cloudman and Glenn dormitories, according to school spokeswoman Amelia Gambino. Any recent or current Georgia Tech students know if these are the "Foreign Student" dorms?

I was joking - honestly - we were very fortunate to meet lovely people at both Churches - we were already kind of in shock over such a huge move on our part and then to have the church so different I think we were overwhelmed.

You feel like you are out on an island but you know inside your are right. Will never take anything major like this at face value again. Now they are calling this a terrorist attack.
Some of us have been made fun of for saying the OU Bombing was a terrorist attack gone bad. I am still sticking to that fact as a lot of information is not being made public because the news media cannot get people to go "on the record" and some stations have given into to the Boren pressure.
Never going to convince me with everything I know the OU Bombing wasn't a terrorist attack that failed.
Now we have this instance with the first info being "compressed" water and then someone calling it a terrorist attack -- how long before that story changes?
To: hispanarepublicana
Yes it was....I was there. Killer game!
