You are the man your father wanted you to be, and I am sure he was very proud of his son! God bless you and yours--I am very sorry for your loss of your beloved father!

What a wonderful testament to the two men who "raised" you, Chris.
I am so sorry to hear of your father's passing.
He must have been a wonderful man to have a son such as you.
God bless, and be with, you, and yours.
May He give you comfort at this time.
Thank you so much for the ping, cyborg.
It truly is a Chris Classic.

Thanks for your open and honest commentary.

Great post cyborg.
Condolences to you, your family and your father's friends, Chris. A son as fine as you to carry on, is a father's greatest legacy.

I discovered Rush way back when I was a high school socialist and he still had a TV show. I tried to resist, but eventually came to see that he was right on many issues. The school of life eventually brought me full circle to the "right."

Tightly written, moving, smooth. Great piece of writing.
I loved reading this one.

Way to go Chris! Excellent work. I almost missed this...you should start a ping list for your stuff.
And you have my deepest sympathies on the loss of your father.
