It was only hours after Joel Henry Hinrichs III blew himself up Oct. 1 near 84,000 football fans at the University of Oklahoma when federal officials claimed he was just a troubled young man with no links to terrorists.
But then yesterday the U.S. Department of Justice asked a federal court in Oklahoma City to seal the search warrant officials there used to get into the apartment Hinrichs’ shared with three or four students described by neighbors as “Arab-looking men.”
If Hinrichs acted alone and had no links to terrorists’ organizations or activities, why seal the search warrant? What did investigators find in Hinrichs’apartment that they don’t want the public to know?

The most disturbing hole, though, is the letter intercepted by U.S. intelligence last May from Iraq terrorist mastermind Abu Musab al-Zarqawi to Osama bin Laden describing a “Great Ramadan Offensive.” The offensive was described as a series of spectacular attacks in the U.S. and elsewhere during Ramadan, which is in October. Was the OU stadium bombing intended as the first of those attacks?

Just remember that Charles Bishop/Bishra was just another depressed student at the time of his suicide as well even though the authorities knew much different from the statements he made in his suicide note.
Has there been any mention of a note in this case?
My conspiracy theory tin foil hat gets the best of me on this story. I wonder if the OU bombing is related to the latest scare in NYC.

It was labelled as "not terrorist related" for well over half a year. It wasn't until 2003 that a dry report was quietly released that revealed that, gee whiz, that nutty Egyptian Muslim who went and shot up the El-Al terminal (prior to swiftly getting capped by El-Al security) did indeed have terrorist links!
Expect the same thing here. Look for the dry report to be quietly released around May of 2006...long after everyone else has forgotten about it.

Well, a lot of facts look mighty suspecious, but I can explain the car registration. My state puts people on a 12 month rotation when they first register a vehicle, but often the renewals are spread out in time. My registration now is for 12 months each time I renew, but the first time was only for 9 months just like the above example. Someone could check and see if OK does this to even out the renewals by putting new people in a month that does not have a lot of renewals. I can well imagine the people who register in Feb in Oklahoma are fewer than in the warmer months.

The local media couldn't ignore it -- 84,000 people at the football game knew something had happened. Plus on-the-scene witnesses like PhiKapMom giving reports to FR, and thus into the hands of many thousands more. Plus the blogs picking it up and spreading
Now after a week of FR and the blogosphere, the media consensus must be that it cannot be covered up, and continuing to try will be irrefutable proof to even the most sleepy sheep that there is an orchestrated cover-up, with the MSM heavily involved
The MSM cannot afford to have even more people decide they are no longer a reliable source of news

With this mentality, the first thing they'll do after the next, large-scale attack is crack-down further on 'profiling' and double the penaties on 'hate-crimes'
No suicide note found -- confirmed by law enforcement, Boren, and the Father on TV interviews.
Maybe they are keeping the lid on for security reasons. Just like in NYC. Maybe this is connected and they are trying to keep the cell(s) from going underground.

On renewals it is for 12 months here after you purchase a new vehicle. If you buy a used car, you renew on the month that the original buyer registered the car originally. And after that it is every 12 months.
We bought a program car, got the license plate and had to renew two months later.
