Typical of Nagin: Grandiose plans with no clue as to how to implement them. As a result, government employees and taxpayers are whipsawed from one scheme to another, all of which cost money and none of which are successfully completed.

Anyone who can't see all the people needing transportation out of the city because all those idle yellow buses are blocking the view is probably not the go to guy when it comes to rebuilding the city.

The New Orleans tourist market doesn't support gambling. More than one boat was moved from New Orleans to a more lucrative market. One land casino went bankrupt, and the current one could never be called a success. New Orleans did support some small suburban boats, but they catered to the local blue collar trade.
