Great listing of the facts! The timing of this incident might be either coincidental, or revealing--the same day, bombs also went off in Bali, and "around" the same time. They're saying 8 pm local Bali time; this one went off between 7:20 and 8:00 our local time, depending on which news agency is reporting. (They might have rounded off the Bali time, too.)

What a load of crap.
Call me a tinfoiler, but I'm convinced there was TROP involvement in this bombing, as well as the 1995 bombing.

It's called "Ramadan." Apparently, the "religion of peace" likes to celebrate the season by killing as many Westerners as possible.

Interesting that he said he "hoped no Muslim was involved"....which means that was his first thought.
------
My first thought when the story of the DC sniper shootings was "Jeezes, I hope no white man was involved."
Now, having said that, within two days of this incident, before I got all the Freeper info, I was wondering if there was a terrorist cell in Norman. Now I not only believe there is a cell there I think it is big and most likely has links to other cells throughout the USA. This is a lot bigger than folks think. I just hope the information is not concealed by LE and the FBI, we need to know about it.

naw the 11th is Tuesday. If you know where Zaqwawi is let me know I'll share the reward with you! But that guy has 11 lives!
Seriously though I do hope this was just a nut job and no connection. If they managed to hit NYC subway, several football games and a mall or two all in one weekend then, well.....

Your last paragraph is excellent. Kissinger agrees with you. This was NOT a pre-emptive strike. Thank you. I wish the sheeple could see what this war is really all about. But they only see what's right in front of their noses. They are incapable of stepping back, looking at the big picture, and understanding how events over a period of several years fit together. No matter what part of the picture they look at, they fail to see the others. It's like staring up close at a jigsaw puzzle. They simply have no grasp of history, not even recent history. And they fall for all the lying and obfuscation from the Left, which clouds the picture for them even further.

Norman PD verified today (10/06) that an undercover police officer was in the store at the time and got a license plate number.Like undercover officers hang out in feed stores. Smells like LE knew something before hand. IIRC, there was an increase in security at the game as well.
Also, can anyone confirm the remote detonation device that went BOOM was the one on his body or could it be that someone else pushed the button when he couldn't get into the stadium and might have been having second thoughts?

I pride myself on being non-judgemental, and anti-racist. This whole thing is putting a severe strain on those feelings in regards to followers of this religion. God, please forgive me if I am wrong in my perspective on these things! I am trying to keep in mind that there has GOT to be some in the religion who don't view all followers of other religion as infidels, but all I hear is the same old thing...Contrary to what some on the Left delude themselves into believing, a lot of us on the right are that way. My first shop foreman was a black guy named Claude Hudson, and to this day I'll cross a busy street to shake his hand- he's a good man. Our closest neighbors are a couple of gay gals- and they are very nice people, not at all like the weird and noisy characters the TV portrays as "spokemen" for the Gay Community. Because of my wife's years at the Temple ( we are both Christians ) I'm as happy worshipping there as in any church I've been to.
But fanatics taint anything they are attached to-- after 9-11, there was a window of opportunity for about a week, for the less-lunatic practitioners of Islam to step up and denounce, refudiate, and distance themselves from the more murderous members.
They lost it. You cannot unring a bell
If anyone has forgotten, go here- and remember the dead:

"Even worse, we hear a lot of whining as they try to turn things around and make themselves out to be the victims. Like the Left, they change the subject and try to obfuscate. If they remained silent, you might ascribe it to fear of the terrorists among them. But when they whine, you know they're just running interference for the terrorists among them."
Good post - tagline rocks too!

I was wondering if there was a terrorist cell in Norman. Now I not only believe there is a cell there I think it is big and most likely has links to other cells throughout the USA. The cell in Norman has been there since 1991. The Hinrichs bombing is only the latest episode in a continuing saga.

thousands of Iraqi Republican Guards...resettled in and around OKC I don't recall hearing about that. Do you have any links so I can read up on it?
To: benjaminjjones
The best place to read up on this is in Jayna Davis's book, "The Third Terrorist." Might be in your library, but I know it's available on amazon, too.
