For those with HBO (and who can stomach Maher's nauseating spiel), Coulter will be on with Andrew Sullivan, and... Ben Affleck! Ahem. Anyway...
Nah. She just really likes to stick it to the left. She already has enough money. She debates liberals for fun. She genuinely enjoys debate.
Eleven - seven now. This has been a heckuva game despite the weather. Hoping the Angels hold on... Seems like Johnson left the game yesterday afternoon!
Just for the record, I have no problem with her objecting to the nomination. What I object to is her personal attack on the POTUS.
Or nominate her, maybe. LOL
Pray for W and Our Freedom Fighters
I respect him too. He's brilliant. I think his approach to this thing is good (you probably heard his show yesterday)...he thinks there were probably better picks out there, but now that the pick has been made, we only hurt ourselves by tearing her down like this.
"stooping down to lefty level"
My take on that is that it is long past time for decent people to realize that, when dealing with scumbags, civility is nothing more than a self-imposed handicap.
It is long past time for decent people to come down off that losing high-horse position and start identifying liberals as the godless, unpatriotic, limp-wristed, one-worlder gun-fearing pansy-assed chicken chocking globalist metrosexual twinkie-addled Subaru driving Starbucks-sipping Dixie Chicks-admiring pierced-nose Volvo-driving France-loving left-wing Communist latte-sucking tofu-chomping holistic-wacko neurotic vegan weenie perverts that they are.
In just those words, or stronger.
I think she's bitter because the intellectual right has been given the shaft by the Republican party. This most recent nomination proves she's correct. You fight for 30 years defending the Republicans and trying to provide a good intellectual foundation for conservatism and when the time comes for the payoff you basically get ignored.
after the lousy remark Maher made about the beheaded folks in the Middle East, I wouldn't piss on Maher if he was to catch on fire!He is a maximum scumbag.
That is a pretty horrible thing for Ann to say.
"What I object to is her personal attack on the POTUS."
What, her saying that he appointed the cleaning lady?
Angels win! One more and the Yankees can join the Red Sox in working on their golf game for the next six months.
"I think she's bitter because the intellectual right has been given the shaft by the Republican party"
You mean the effete corp of impudent snobs has been given the shaft...oh my how horrible...
Intellectuals, left or right, are so dang sanctimonius and elitist...eff em...they think they know best cuz they went to hifalutin big name schools...gag me...I went to a state school and the huffie puffies from the hoity toity big names were just a bunch of fluff with no real substance, and certainly no better than the serfs that went to no name university.
Maher and Coulter deserve each other...they need to get a room!
For someone who has never really practiced law she sure does have a lot to say about someone who has (and very successfully) for the past 25 plus years.
Do you applaud the "cleaning lady" remark?
Ben Affleck is gonna destroy Jennifer Garner's career. He's a curse!
"I'm from the rightwing intelligentsia, and I'm here to help."
No, though I'm not happy about that condescending stuff either. Whatever you think of the nominee, calling an accomplished attorney a "cleaning lady" is unjustified and small.
What I meant was her reference to President Bush "boozing it up" in her column this week, and reminding him he's not a "dictator". She sounds exactly like a frustrated DUer.
