Student Leader: Hinrichs Not Muslim

The president of an OU student organization said he believes Joel Henry Hinrichs III was neither a Muslim nor a visitor to local mosques. ADVERTISEMENT click here

Ashraf Hussein, the president of OU's Muslim Student Association, also confirmed that up to seven people were either questioned or detained regarding the bombing death of Hinrichs, a 21-year-old engineering student.

Hinrichs died Saturday night after a bomb he was supposedly carrying exploded while he sat on a bench next to George Lynn Cross Hall, about 100 yards from Oklahoma Memorial Stadium, where 84,000 people were watching a college football game.

While the incident and its investigation have spurred plenty of rumor and speculation, authorities have consistently maintained that there is no evidence Hinrichs belonged to an extremist organization.

On Tuesday, the owner of a Norman feed store acknowledged that Hinrichs came into Ellison Feed & Seed last week to inquire about ammonium nitrate fertilizer, which was an ingredient in the 1995 Oklahoma City bombing. However, Dustin Ellison said Hinrichs wasn't able to explain what he might want with the ammonium nitrate.

Thanks for the link!

Along with the current story that is developing at OU, I find these past coincidences simply too amazing......

According to Berg, his son was taking a course a few years ago at a remote campus of the University of Oklahoma near an airport. He described how on one particular day, his son met "some terrorist people -- who no one knew were terrorists at the time."

At one point during the bus ride, Berg said, the man sitting next to his son asked if he could use Nick's laptop computer.

"It turned out this guy was a terrorist and that he, you know, used my son's e-mail, amongst many other people's e-mail who he did the same thing to," Berg said.

Government sources said Berg gave the man his password, which was later used by Moussaoui, the sources said.

"Supposedly" because he wasn't actually *carrying* it. He was seated.

OU Daily story a couple of days ago said "when a bomb exploded near him."

That's the ticket.

And Michael Moore thought what this man had to say about Iraq was irrelevant to his little film. Guess he didn't say "the right things".

He may not have been a muslim but he sure was at that mosque and islamic center ALL THE FREAKING TIME!

Maybe he was going to become a Muslim if he passed through this initiation and set us up with the bomb. But whoops... never officially inducted.

I know that a lot of people are content to call the silence over the goings on in Oklahoma a matter of "national security" but how many people have to die for this so called "security"? More Americans came too close to dying last weekend.

Personally I suspect that there are a lot of answers in the Able Danger files. It might explain the ammount of info and the resistance to an investigation. I don't doubt that both political parties are neck deep in it and if we ever hope to learn the true extent of it we'll need to give amnesty to a lot of politicians across the board.

Amnesty, with the caveat that they are ineligible for any elected office ever again. Otherwise, treason and sedition charges.

Just fantasizing, never mind me.

No elected office but let them write all the books they want. The truth is worth it.

Isn't there a verse in the Koran that says that it's OK to lie to the Infidel?

So why was he growing pubic hairs on his face? Like all the ragheads like to do!

I don't think he was growing up to be a pizza delivery man!

"How else was he blown completely apart?"

He was supposedly blown completely apart. Makes sense, doesn't it?

>>>Ashraf Hussein, the president of OU's Muslim Student Association<<<

Now THERE'S a reliable source. These guys are taught to lie from the time they're knee-high to a goat. Lying is O.K., says their Holy Book, as long as the purpose is to kill infidels.

Allegedly dead from the bomb that he was supposedly carrying, while not being a Muslim, and a depressed loner.
