Why is this not the subject of every newscast, 24 hours per day?
It is clearly being covered up on our local news. They said tonight that they were still not sure what the bomb was and that was the 5:00 pm news.
I for one am glad this isn't making headlines, that just what these scumbags want. But I agree the lack of coverage on this is strange.
Violent acts by Islamics are covered up, hushed up, and called nothing out of the ordinary.
Reason #1: Homeland Security needs to find his accomplices and the al-Qaeda cell (if any) behind this. They can't roll up this organization if the MSM is all over it. It's important not to panic the rats so badly that they flee the country.
Reason #2: The government doesn't want to panic the people. There is the threat of misguided vigilante violence aimed at mosques and Muslims in general. With the army and the national guard abroad, the last thing we need is to have civil strife here.
The government is just trying to be prudent and responsible.
Is a hot young white chick missing?
In contrast, the Pakis up in Lodi, CA with terrorist ties that were arrested/deported/awaiting trial, have been all over the local news in the Big Valley.
Minimal coverage on the national scene though.
>>Why is this not the subject of every newscast, 24 hours per day?<<
Because the leftists in the media will never validate Bush's War on Terror, even if it means all of us die in a jihadist bloodbath.
My raw hatred for the liberal media grows more and more each day.
dunno. everyone I talk to says "what? Never even heard there was a bomb much less any of this other stuff."
That's what I want to know too!!!! I'm getting more than a bit ticked off about this. What the gosh darn heck is going on here? hmmmmm, grrrrrrr
No kidding.... Where is the "FOX NEWS ALERT"
is this only more proof FoxNews is becoming apart of the liberal MSM??

Put yourself in the authorities role. These jerks are trying to spread terror among the public in the US.
This was clearly such an attempt. To you give them a victory they did not get by hyping this up and like the terrorist spreading terror in the US? Or do you quietly try to go about stopping more such events?
I am not sure I know the answer. I know the incident on the Greyhound bus and the kid flying the small plane into the building in Tampa afer 911 were people sympathetic to al Qaeda. I think the government took the view, they were not members and lets not spread terror for the terrorist and change the American way of life.
What should be done this time? I bet had this worked al Qaeda would be claiming credit. Should the authorities do al Qaeda's job for them and scare the public out of going to college football games? Should they talk down the entire US economy and scare people out of living the American way of life like the terrorist want?
I would certainly favor handling this quietly if I knew the government was handling things like this rather than holding more diversity training session. But I think it is a tough call.

Com'on! It's Ramadamadingdong.
We wouldn't want to cast dispersions upon or towel headed nutcase brethen on their puke fasting period, would we???
No pretty young blond involved. Although maybe the raven haired Persian young lady could substitute... If the MSM really wanted to cover the story, which they clearly don't. That includes Fox of course.
The average Journalist is an atheistic, liberal, America-hating radical.
They don'T want Americans to become aware of the Islamic menace among us.
This is reminiscent of the Oklahoma city bombing. The Muslims recruit an American nutjob and use him.
I am more concerned that our government and other governments investigate this, and use as "fresh" as they can find INTEL to track back to ring leaders.
Maybe there will be reports of people in the Sudan or Algeria driving along talking on their cell phones when their car blows up.
Now that would be something to report...
I know... the news blackout on this story is very strange.
As I stated on another thread, "If people quit going to football games becasue they were afraid of being a terror victim, it would send this country into recession." This is a huge business.
"Why is this not the subject of every newscast, 24 hours per day?"
My opinion is that is would scare America *hitless, meaning the economy would plummet even further. America is on the brink of the biggest recession since 1979. Any further blows to consumer spending would be disasterous. I am sure the enemy knows this already, hence such timing of an attack.
