3 videos on the right-hand video listing. Summary:
Hinrichs spent time in the same Norman mosque as Moussaui
Ticket to Algeria was found linking back to his Pakistani roommate
5 others possibly involved
Hinrichs attempted to enter the stadium and may have had a ticket to the game
You, sir, are an infidel.
Well, so am I.
Keep on trucking, and KEEP YOUR EYES on weekend college games.
Thanks. Will it turn red to alert me, or should I keep checking it?
BTTT!!!!
Yep.
Great job Cindy, and thank you!
I didn't take it. I just posted it.
If only that were true -- would make my day!
You are in the red now my friend..lol. Thanks Indy for putting Rte66 on the list..the name deserves it if nothing else..lol I love Rt 66!! been driving it all my life...lol
Channel 5 is worthless and this proves it even more.
I realize folks are trying to piece things together, but this thread is a mess.
I can't get the initial link to do anything and thus don't know what the linked sources (videos?) say. The first post was very sketchy on details.
I glean from a couple of the useful posts that the story is the roomate had a ticket to Algeria "for Spring Break?" That doesn't seem too odd. It is about six months from now and would seem irrelevant to this incident.
As for the 5 others possibly involved - no one really addresses this anywhere, unless these are the muslims who were questioned by the police/FBI. Unless someone is on the inside on this point, I urge no one to read too much into that. According to family friends who know one of these individuals, he was completely uninvolved and terrified of the whole situation knowing he lived in the same complex as this guy. (Of course, they could be wrong, but they're conservative evangelical christians in Norman, so doubtful they have an agenda in being wrong.)
I can't find anything about entering the stadium.
I once asked Jim about why FR had, about 4 years ago, started to become inundated with useless one liner posts. From his response I gleaned he thought it could be a deliberate effort by ?trolls, others? to undermine the utility of this medium. It's probably asking too much, but if folks want to make FR a useful forum, adding 650 one liner posts to an investigative thread within 4 hours isn't helpful. Really, how many people need to say "move along." It was cute for the first 240 postings of it, but it got boring after awhile. Which sadly probably explains why its happening.
Good God, do we have to ELECT someone to bring back Able Danger capability?
BRIEF HUMOR BREAK TO KEEP THE SANITY...
"Someone set him up the bomb!!!"
Dang it... you beat me to it! LOL
The Spring Break mention was sarcasm. Forgot to add the tag. The initial videos were working just fine when this thread was posted.
No, someone set him up the bomb.
All his 72 virgins are belong to them.
Uhhhh.....had a little too much Diet Mountain Dew this evening. When I read this, I almost had to drop into a Farsi dialect.
OPINION: Cool heads will prevail and win the day.
Holie wowserzzz!! Cindy and all need to get a pulitzer or cash or something. What great work.
Yes 7:20 was the reported time by all the press and witnesess before the *spin*.
I still find it odd that ALL the cell phones went goofy at several of the college games going on in Ok. and Tx.
I caught the first thread after hearing something on the radio and just before PhiKapMom got home from the stadium and gave us all those great eyewitness accounts and with all of the great threads since then, to paraphrase Ringo, I've got blisters on me eyeballs!! LOL.
There WAS a short 15 sec. blurb on this here in San Antonio tonight on our local news with a copter shot of the charred bench and a bus very nearby but no real info on the story. The spin was that Texas plays OU this weekend in the Red River Shootout.
First..may I be added to your ping list and.... please don't hate me but... Go Longhorns!!
