LISTEN TO MARK LEVIN ONLINE AND JOIN THE DISCUSSION
6-8PM Eastern
Will we hear
GET OFF THE PHONE YOU MORON, or
GET OFF THE PHONE YOU BIG JERK, or
GET OFF THE PHONE YOU DOPE
LOL, burning dinner...
LOL, not my style Levin.
He was sworn in 1988, and Casey came down in 1992 -- ok, 4 years.
Right, within 4 years a guy who was thoroughly vetted upheld a ruling that even the honest lefty high brow lawyers admit is garbage. 4 years!
With all due respect, your argument is illogical.
No, it's not. It's quite logical, the fact that you happen to disagree with my position doesn't make my logic bad, it just means we disagree. The idea that intimate knowledge of a person over a long period of time doesn't increase the likelihood of that POTUS being a better judge of that individual rather than relying on the Sunnunu's of the world is illogical.
For instance, Scalia was also interviewed, and he turned out to be very solid.
That he has.
You are joining a small chorus defending emotion over logic. That's ok, but that's what it is.
Hardly. I'm not accusing you of being overwhelmed by female hormones. But I will if you continue along this line. :-}
My book has example after example of cronies picked by presidents who were terrible.
Good book.
The left is standing by and watching us with great glee.
How in the heck have those bumper stickers lasted so long? They still look bright and new. There MUST be an envronmental issue with those things some where
Nope, I swear they replace them with new ones while we're asleep!! ;>)
2L's in Halliburton! LOL! Try again and more drinking! :D
You totally don't understand Bush if you think his relationship with miers and others like her is just "business".
GEORGE WILL: It is not important that Harriet Miers be confirmed. It might be very important that she not be... Developing...

Somehow it's just not that hard a decision.
I choose President Bush.
If you understood what is at risk here, you wouldn't be cavalier, casual, and flippant.
This one pick has the power to administer the coup de grace to this nation--or to save it. If Harriet Miers should morph into another O'Connor or Kennedy--and she presently shows every tedency to that end--liberals will have another full decade to finish undermining and destroying the social values that have sustained us for 230 years. Stevens, Souter, Ginsburg, Breyer and Kennedy are only one reliable vote away from doing just that.
This one pick is more important than the presidency itself.
So that's why my spell check keeps telling me to go to L.
I don't think so, Ralph Neas had to beat a path to Harry Reid to make sure that Reid changed his statement so that it would not be an "endorsement" of Harriet Miers.
They should have cases of them left over.
This is a discussion forum not a choir rehearsal; we do not all have to be on the same page 100% of the time. Bush is our choice here but he is not infallible. There are legitimate reasons for many of us to be less than pleased with aspects of his performance. This choice is one of them. It is unfortunate that your world allows no room for dissention from your position.
LLOLL! LLOLL! LLOLL! I must be l bent too.
Ok - trust. Good test. Since you argue for this position, tell us what the president discussed with her about her judicial philosophy. He said they never discussed abortion. So, on what basis does he actually know her judicial philosophy, and when will he share it with his supporters? Or do we have to read minds in addition to trust???
Just finished work- so am maddeningly late to the party- I have a question for Mark- or anyone who knows.
Will we find out who she chooses for clerks? That would be intriguing...
I'm having trouble with your link, as well. Summary?
This one pick isn't going to change the direction of the court one bit. If Mark Levin was the nominee...it's still 5-4 against us.
That's what I figure!! LOL
lmao!
