If Harriet Miers should morph into another O'Connor or Kennedy--and she presently shows every tedency to that end--liberals will have another full decade to finish undermining and destroying the social values that have sustained us for 230 years. Stevens, Souter, Ginsburg, Breyer and Kennedy are only one reliable vote away from doing just that.
