CENTRE HALL -- A Boalsburg man was arrested early Monday after troopers said they found him naked and sucking on a nozzle of a kerosene pump at the Centre Hall Snappy's.
Brian M. Schreck, 18, of 229 W. Pine St., faces a myriad of charges including aggravated assault, simple assault, attempted criminal trespass and indecent exposure.
According to the affidavit of probable cause filed in the case, police were notified about 12:45 a.m., when a Snappy's employee called to report a partially clothed man -- later identified as Schreck -- inside the store. Employees said he was only wearing a pair of red-and-yellow boxer shorts and a black T-shirt. They asked him to leave because he was not wearing socks or shoes.
According to court documents, a witness said Schreck was then observed walking across the street to Frosty Stop, where he tried to break into a van parked there. He removed his shirt and underwear and then pulled down some aluminum spouting, the witness told police. He then tried to break into a nearby home before walking back over to Snappy's, the witness said.
State police said Schreck was found with the kerosene nozzle into his mouth, and officers asked him to remove it. Schreck allegedly fought with troopers who tried to arrest him, managing at one point to get into the driver's seat of the still-running patrol car, court records show.
Using pepper spray and a police baton, the two troopers managed to handcuff him, according to court records.
Schreck is currently being held in Centre County Correctional Facility in lieu of a $25,000 bail. His preliminary hearing is scheduled for Oct. 5.

I stop at this station to fuel up when traveling to one of my horse shows! Nothing like this ever happens then.
